• Signingofthetroop’sbridge
WealsoplantoprovideanoverviewpresentationforboththeScoutsandtheirparentsofSummerCamp.
Wefindthatnewscoutswhoattendsummercampinthefirstyeararemoresuccessfulthanthosewhodon’t.

UNIFORM:YourscoutwillneedtoacquireakhakiscoutshirtsuchascanbefoundatScoutStuff.org
orlocallyatNankinshobbystorewhichwillneedtobeupdatedwithtrooppatchesweprovide
beforesummercamp.Hewillalsoneedapairofscoutpantsorshorts,andgoodhikingshoesor
boots.Thetroophassomeuseduniformitemstochoosefromthathavebeendonatedbyourscout
families.Werecognizethatboysaregrowingveryquicklyatthisage,sothetroopkeepstheseused
uniformstohelpfamiliesthroughthisphase.You’llalsohavetheopportunitytoorderoptional
troop–wear(Hat,“T”,sweatshirts).Orderformswillbeavailablethenightofthetroopcrossover
ceremony.NewscoutsautomaticallyreceiveatroopT-shirtthatisreferredtoasclassBuniform.
Filloutatroop-wearorderformwithhissizetoreceivethisfreeshirtandaddanyadditionalitems
desiredtocompleteyourorder.
