There are three large-scale marinas in Lebanon, Joseph Khoury in Dbayeh, arguably the biggest marina in the Middle
East, Automobile et Touring Club du Lebanon (ATCL) in Jounieh, and Solidere marina, with additional twelve smaller
marinas along the Lebanese cost line; offering combined more than 1,000 berths and receiving boats from GCC, Cyprus,
Turkey and Greece around the year.

in the boating markets in the past five years; resulting
a considerable pick up in leisure boat sales. Demand
for leisure boats of all sizes is being fuelled by the
emergence and rapid growth of marina-style real estate
in the region, making it the most concentrated area of
marina development in the world, and creating new
options for existing and potential boat owners.
Yachts have become the main attraction among MENA’s
super rich who are spending more money on buying
luxurious big boats as a sign of prestige. In addition,
