The term ‘organic’ is protected by law because the EU has official rules for the launch of organic products on the market. A specialty shop for pastry and pie is called a confectionery. Pastry is the name for sweet delicacies that are made through the baking process. Van Es Foods International BV has been operating independently since 1971 as a supplier of fruit products, fruit, and purées to industrial users, bakeries, ice cream producers, the food service industry, salads and catering. Our company selects companies from all over the world that are the best in producing frozen fruit in loose form and whose primary focus is quality. Our business only works with natural ingredients. Characteristic for those agricultural methods is that it attempts to work with as little environmentally burdening means and methods as possible. The fruit of ‘Fruit Life’ is normally treated with as little environmentally burdening means and methods as possible. To exclude these and to embrace a certain lifestyle we also have a number of organic purées. Because ‘Fruit Life’ selects the best harvest areas and freezes using IQF, the products are highly suitable for the patisserie with only 100% natural base materials. The storage of more than 35 kinds of fruits and the quality control all takes place in our own cold store. This creates a very wide range from a 6-forest fruit mix, raspberry, and mango to a real exotic mix. Furthermore, we also produce fruit purées which consist of 90% fruit and 10% crystal sugar. These are packaged in transparent sealed containers of 1 kilo. These purées are applied in the making of ice cream, ice cream dressings, sorbets, patisserie, etcetera. Traditional ice cream This history of ice cream goes back to the time of the Romans, when they first spoke of a sorbet. The Romans were very fond of it and served their guests with diverse ice cream dishes prepared with snow, mixed with honey, rosewater, and fruit. The Arabs later refined the recipes. Ice cream can mainly be divided in two categories: ice cream and sorbet. We are a very flexible company that goes all the way to create additional customer value. That is the reason why we only deliver according to the quality specification of the customer. Thanks to production options such as calibrating, picking by hand, and electronic colour selection we can assure the agreed quality guarantee. The merchandise is packaged in bags of 1 kilo and 2,5 kilos. Ice cream is a substance that becomes solid (-like) through freezing. In its frozen state it is meant for consumption and is mainly composed of cream, milk and sugar, with additional ingredients such as fruit. All this is packaged in Babberich under the name ‘Fruit Life’, which is Van Es Foods’ private labelling. Sorbet is (originally) an ice dish in which all kinds of fruit juices or syrups are poured over ground ice (frozen water). In the modern gastronomy a sorbet is an ice dish based on water, which usually contains fruit. Our mission is: the creation of additional value to the final user. Our companying motto is ‘Quality by Nature’. ‘Fruit Life” only delivers good quality. Thanks to the selected natural, dark colours, full aromas, and soft structures of the fruit it is extremely suitable to make traditional ice cream with without artificial additives. IQF Fruit Freezing Restaurants IQF using liquid nitrogen makes it possible to small food products such as raspberry, berries or tropical fruit-which is The restaurant came into existence in Paris at the end of the 18th century. Of course there were eating houses before that, which mainly provided food and shelter to the sporadic traveler. The innovation that the restaurant brings, is that the restaurant-visit is the goal, and that the visitor chooses from several possible dishes (menu à la carte). The French firm Michelin even publishes a guide in which an overview is given of restaurants that have such good quality that people are happy to make a detour. The firm awards stars to restaurants as a sign of its quality. 100% IQF products are produced in one of two ways: either by immersion in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of-196 ° c to The advantage of IQF freezing: the fruit remains in its individual form and not block frozen the structure is retained the flavor and taste remains optimal Smoothies A blended smoothie is a non-alcoholic drink made by mixing whole fruits into a pulp in a blender, filled with a certain amount crushed ice, ice cream or dairy product (milk/yoghurt, …). It is a very trendy product, which not only offers customers a drink, but also a lifestyle. Smoothies are a healthy alternative for a snack or a meal (breakfast, snack, dessert). Cocktails Cocktails originate from the word coctel, a Mayan word indicating fermented fruit juices. It was discovered in the 16th century by Spaniards in Yucatan. They took the concept with them to Europe and there the name was degenerated by the English to the word ‘cocktail’. The term was used to indicate a mixture of fermented fruit juices and distillates. The best way to make a good cocktail is to use ready for use purées, since these have been filtered. The purées in combination with the distillate will give the cocktails a transparent color. ‘Fruit Life’ has a very wide range of frozen fruit in loose form and filtered fruit purées, but it also has several ready for use smoothies which only have to be blended. U A LI TY BY NA TU R ® the external surface of the product immediately freeze, either by constant movement during the freezing process. Both technologies prevent products sticking together and produce a 100% IQF freezing throughput. Café & bar E “Individually Quick Frozen” normally difficult to freeze well are-to freeze individually. There is a distinction between ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ pastry: • Wet pastry is a collective term for all pastry kinds that have whipped cream, cream, or custard as the main ingredient. Wet pastry can only be kept for a maximum of 24 hours. • Dry pastry is a collective term for all other kinds of pastries. These kinds can be kept for a longer period of time. Examples are filled fruit cookies or tart. Q Fruit Life Organic ‘Fruit Life’ purée is very suitable for the decoration of plates or for making bavarois or dessert ice cream. The fruit can be used as a base in fruit buffets, warm sauces and fillings, and in, amongst others, yoghurt. The dessert is the closing dish of the lunch or night, which is why it will linger best with the customer. Ergo, it is a very important moment to look good.
