Peppered Moths
In England there are white
trees that peppered moths
were adapted to blend with.
During the Industrial
Revolution humans started
burning lots of coal and it
turned the trees black.
Because of this the white
moths started getting eaten,
but darker moths started
surviving.
Nowadays we don’t burn coal
as much and the trees are
white again, and the moths
have turned back.
