the player. Competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of mutual respect among competitors,
adherence to the rules, or the basic joy of play.”
Goaltimate is a high-energy, fast-paced disc sport. There are five players per team, with three on the field at a time. The game starts
from behind the clear line when a defensive player “taps” the disc held by an offensive player. The offensive player establishes a pivot
foot, then progresses the disc down the field by throwing to teammates within the field of play. Points are scored once a player
successfully passes the disc through the front of an arching goal to a receiving teammate in the end zone.

7. ROSTER ADMINISTRATION:
Roster change deadline: N/A
A. 3 on 3 line-ups.
B. Rosters are frozen after the deadline listed above with two exceptions - new citizens and team hardship.
C. Players can only play on one team. Teams are a minimum of 3 players. Roster maximum is 5.
(Teams with shift workers can have a roster of 7.) (Players ages 16 or 17 must complete appropriate ‘youth’ paperwork.)
D. Any & all individual players must sign the originally submitted Team Roster.
Note: The Department normally accepts registrations by teams only. However, individuals interested in playing but do not know
of a team, a “FREE AGENT” list will be kept. At the league meeting these ‘free agents’ may be combined to form one or more
additional teams, or be added to existing teams. To place your name on this list, register individually by the ‘Due Date’.

Schedule is anticipated to be a round robin with doubleheaders, if possible.
After completion of the game, call in score and leave message on the main line 243-1260 x7.
Team shirts are optional at the expense of each team. Pullover jerseys will be available.
Non-alcoholic beverages are encouraged to be brought to the game field. (That is, no alcoholic beverages.)
Inclement weather will be determined by Recreation Staff not earlier than 7:00 p.m. (1 hour before game time).
Rescheduling will be made-up according to the Recreation Department.
