Group fitness classes held in CYT2310. Schedule and hours are subject to change.
 Group fitness classes must meet minimal enrollment to be eligible for PED115 DROP-INS.
 Please arrive on time for class.
Class Description:
Boot Camp: (PED101BC) Whole body conditioning in a fun and energizing way using
cardio, endurance, speed and resistance training.
Pilates: (PED101PS) A core fitness class incorporation whole body strengthening and
core stability training.
Stretch and Relax: (PED101SR) A mat-based stretching class with guided meditation. This
class will help increase flexibility, relieve stress and promote overall well-being.
Tai Chi: (PED101TC) A gentle form of movement based on Chinese martial arts, this art
form promotes balance, endurance, whole body range of motion, coordination and
agility.
Yoga: (PED101YO) Learn traditional Hatha Yoga poses and movements to stimulate,
energize and clam the body. This class will stretch your body and soothe your mind and
help with improving concentration and focus through relaxation breathing and
visualization.
Zumba: PED101ZU) High energy, easy to follow rhythmic dance moves set to Latin and
international music interspersed with fitness interval training.
***PED115 allows access to the Fitness Center and students will have the option to
“drop in” to a group fitness class. To ensure a spot in the group fitness class you may
enroll in any PED101 class through my.maricopa.edu
