Program Content
WEEK 1:
The first week students will participate in a number of soft-skill workshops, oriented at improving their interpersonal skills, including teamwork, leadership, personal branding & employability, and communication skills.
WEEK 2 AND 3:
Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurship and innovation are
two of the key features that set IE apart from other schools
around the world. This track will heighten the entrepreneurial
spirit of the students by providing the most relevant and real
world experiences from key stakeholders and professionals
of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Students will have the
chance to explore their potential business ideas, learn about
what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur, and get advice
from experienced business gurus. They will also learn how to
execute the business model of an entrepreneurial venture,
manage its growth, and deal with investors and legal issues.
International Finance: In the International Finance track
students will cover the key and most trendy topics of the
finance industry such as Private Equity & Entrepreneurship,
Valuation, Derivatives, Risk Management, Capital Markets
and Alternative markets. With or without previous studies
of finance, if you feel passionate about embarking on an
ambitious career in the financial world, this course will be a
great stepping stone towards your goal.
International Politics, Economics and Management:
Today’s world is full of amazing challenges such as economic
globalization, civil conflict, environmental decay, and poverty
and under-development. Addressing these challenges will
require global professionals who combine knowledge of
how the world works with practical capacities in project
management, leadership, and strategic design. Join the track in
International Politics, Economics, and Management, and begin
your journey to a successful career as an agent of progress and
excellence in an ever-changing global context.
Global law: The Global Law track will allow you to learn about
the new trends in the legal environment, how technology is
changing the practice of law. Students will understand the
importance of digital privacy, in particularly data security and
cyber security, and of new technologies in the legal field, plus
the implications as a lawyer of not keeping abreast of recent
trends and innovation, such as the assessment to provide
financial services through an intense use of the technology.
You will also deal with hot topics such as the necessity of a
compliance culture in businesses and how entrepreneurship
is reshaping the legal industry with the development of new
business models for lawyers.
Innovation and Technology: In the innovation and
technology track students will be exposed to the key areas
of knowledge that are changing the world, like digital
transformation, big data, digital innovation, and disruptive
technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics or 3D printing.
In a world where the leading companies, the game-changers,
are digital players, understanding the interplay of technology,
innovation and management is a key capability that we will
help you develop. With or without previous knowledge of
technology or innovation, this track will help you kick start
your career as a digital innovator.
Marketing and Communication: In the Marketing &
Communication track you will learn the foundations of
marketing management, understanding consumer insights
and neuromarketing in order to reach the right target of a
product or service, through positioning, advertising and
communication strategies. You will also touch on the latest
digital and visual media trends, and see how they empower
businesses and brands, enabling them to create and sustain
competitive advantage.
