writing, math and outdoor research. With projection capability, the space can be used for
classes, movies and presentations for all ages. The Courtyard
at East Woods is a space unique
to Hudson and can also be used
for small venue musical performances and art installations.
Green spaces and living labs
for the growing and care of
plants will provide a wonderful
opportunity for partnering with
Hudson organizations who teach
the art and science of growing, gardening and composting.
In addition, the outdoor seating
and learning areas of The Courtyard may also provide a unique
space for meetings when Ohio
weather is at its best, day or night.
The Courtyard at East Woods
offers a safe environment for all
children and youth activities and
events with its natural enclosure.
The Hudson City School District has relied heavily on private
and charitable donations to fund
facilities such as these that serve
both our students and the community. To date, The Courtyard
at East Woods project has raised
$40,000 through grants and donations for the funding of the project.
