Classrooms
Classroom lessons are held on campus in academic buildings equipped with modern technology.
Cafeteria
Dining at Babson is located in Trim Dining Hall and students can enjoy a wide variety of menu selections ranging from vegetarian to meat entrées, fruits and desserts in a bu"et style setting. Special arrangements are available for both medical and religious dietary restrictions.
Computers
Group participants will have scheduled access to a computer lab for purposes of sending and receiving
e-mail, typing, skyping, and printing.
ATM Machines
There is one Automated Teller Machine located in the Reynolds Campus Center at Babson College.

Students eat buffet style in the Trim Dining Hall. Meals are varied, and it is possible to accommodate
dietary and religious restrictions.
BREAKFAST: Breakfast includes hot buffet variety, assorted cereals, fruit, coffee, tea, and juice.
LUNCH: Lunch includes hot and cold buffet variety, sandwich options, a salad bar, a dessert bar, and
soda and juice.
DINNER: Dinner includes several hot and cold buffet varieties, a salad bar, a dessert bar, coffee, tea,
juice, and soda.

LIVING ON CAMPUS
Students will reside in one of the following residence halls: Coleman Hall, Park Manor, or Pietz Hall.
Accommodation
Participants will be staying in single suite rooms, double rooms, or four person suites. Each bed will have two sets of
linen packets to be changed weekly. Linen packets will include two flat sheets, one pillow case, one bath towel and
one washcloth. Rooms are fully furnished and each includes a desk, chest of drawers, chair, and closet. Study
lounges and common areas are also available for student use.
Room Cleaning
Bathrooms will be cleaned at least every other day.
Pool Towels
Pool access will be on a restricted basis. Towels are not provided. Each student is recommended to bring a towel for
the swimming pool.
Laundry Facilities
On-site guest self-laundry facilities are available and are US-coin operated. Students can purchase detergent at the
campus store during open hours.

Vending Machines
Bottled sodas, water and snacks may be purchased through the vending machines located on site. These machines
accept US$1.00 bills and quarters only.
Commissary
Located in the Reynolds Campus Center and available from 8:30 a.m.- 4:00pm Monday – Thursday and 8:30am-2pm
on Friday. The commissary will be fully stocked with chips, candy, soda, bottled water, insect repellant and international calling cards among other items. A Barnes and Noble Bookstore is also available at the same hours.
Rules and Regulations
Students must obey all written and verbal rules from Study Tours Counselors. All Babson rules and American Laws
must be followed and will be enforced. Curfew for all participants will be Midnight (12:00 a.m.) unless otherwise
stated. Counselors will report violations and make recommendations of consequences to the Study Tours Site Coordinator.
Safety Deposit Box
A safety deposit box is available on campus.
Fire
Please read the rules displayed in your dorms very carefully and note the location of the emergency exit. If you notice a
fire, please leave the building as soon as possible. Your safety is more important than your money or belongings.
Damages
Damages made must be paid for. All rooms and common areas are regularly checked for damages, and individuals
who cause damage to any property on the site will be held liable for the cost of repairs. Refundable deposits of $25
are collected from all students for damages on arrival at the site.
This money will be returned at the end of the stay provided there are no damages to the site. The cost of damage in
communal areas that is not caused by a particular student or groups of students will be equally divided among all
students residing in that particular area. A $25 fee is charged for every lost key.
International Calls
International calls require the use of an international calling card or the use of 9-1-800- COLLECT. To obtain an outside
line for an international call you must first dial 9, then follow the directions on the back of your international calling
card (the code to dial outside the United States is 011). Each site also has computers available for students to call via
Skype. Skype calls are the cheapest method of international calling.

If a student is sick or there is a medical emergency, please immediately seek medical care. Students should
contact their group leader. If necessary, students will be taken to Newton-Wellesley Hospital which will need
to be paid for by the student (including transportation). Students are usually taken to the emergency room
for care.
LOC A L T R A N S P O R TAT I O N
By Rail
From the Amtrak Terminal at South Station
You have two options:
•
Take the Framingham/Worcester Commuter rail to Wellesley Hills. From South Station, take the Framingham/
Worcester commuter rail to Wellesley Hills. Depending on the time of day, regularly scheduled trains leave South
Station at ½ to 2-hour intervals (Monday-Friday), and 1-to 3-hour intervals (Saturday and Sunday). The trip takes
approximately 30 minutes. Purchase your ticket in the station. Then, call a taxi from Wellesley Hills.
•
Take the “T.” From South Station, take the MBTA subway Red Line inbound two stops to Park Street. Walk upstairs
and take the Green Line outbound Riverside D train to Woodland, the next to last stop on the D line. Allow an hour
for the trip. Then, take a taxi from Woodland to Babson.
By Bus
Take a non-express Peter Pan or Greyhound bus to the Riverside MBTA terminal. Then, take a taxi to Babson.
By Air
From Logan International Airport. There are three options:
Take a taxi directly to Babson College. Allow at least an hour for the trip.
Take the Logan Express to Framingham. This full-sized bus picks up passengers at all terminals. Allow at least one hour
for the trip. See the Logan Express website for more information. Then, from Framingham, take a taxi to Babson College. Allow 30 minutes for the trip.
Take the “T.” Take the free shuttle bus from the terminal to the MBTA Airport subway stop. Take the Blue Line inbound
four stops to Government Center. Walk upstairs and take the Green Line outbound Riverside D train to Woodland, the
next to last stop on the D line. Allow about 90 minutes for the total trip. Then, from Woodland, take a taxi to Babson
College.
