What is a Grotto?
A group of Master Masons who enjoy fellowship and
frivolity
A group of Master Masons who know how to have fun
while showing sympathy to their fellow brothers
Men who want to come together with other Mason’s
outside the formalities of the blue lodge

All members of the Grotto are known as Prophets
The chief officer of a Grotto is the Monarch

Master of Ceremonies

What about this Grotto
O-Ton-Ta-La Grotto was formed in 1911 under the
guidance of Monarch William T.S. O’Hara
Has been the home of four past Ohio Grotto
Association Presidents (and one future we know of)
1929, 1955, 1970, 1988, and soon in 2017
In 1923, Past Monarch Herald Harter became the only
member of our Grotto to become the Grand Monarch
