Collect the multiples 2 Play this game with a friend to find out if you know the 3, 4, 7 and 9 times tables. Instructions Setting up the game First print out pages 2 to 5 on card. Then cut out the ‘number group cards’ from pages 2 and 3 and laminate them. Next cut out the ‘number cards’ on pages 4 and 5 and laminate them. Playing the game This is a two player game. Each player takes two number group cards and turns the number cards upside down in a pile. Players take it in turns to turn over a number card. If it fits in one of the categories on the player’s number group cards, the player can keep the card. If not, they need to put it in a discard pile. When the pile of number cards has run out, each player must count up how many number cards they have collected. The winner is the player with the most number cards. Extension: For a harder challenge, if you already a number on one of your number group cards, you must place the duplicate number card in the discard pile. © www.teachitprimary.co.uk 2015 21909 Page 1 of 5 Collect the multiples 2 Number group cards Numbers in the 3 times table.
