Identify and generate equivalent
forms of whole numbers. 36 = 30+6
or 9 x 4 or 46-10
Solving multi-digit addition and
subtraction problems
Identify and classify polygons
and 3D solids.
Compare 2d and 3d shapes
All classroom objectives are based upon
the Ohio Academic Standards and the new
Common Core Standards.
Polygon – a closed shape made up
of 3 or more straight lines. A 2D
shape.
Quadrilateral – Any four sided
polygon: squares, rectangles,
rhombus, trapezoids.
Right Triangle – A triangle having
one right angle.
Right angle – an angle that forms a
square corner
Ray – a line that starts at an
endpoint and goes in one direction
forever
Upcoming Events
Rhombus - A quadrilateral with
opposite sides being parallel and all
sides are the same length.
December 13th – School Christmas
Program
Square – A rectangle with all sides
equal.
December 19th – Class Christmas
Parties
Rectangle – a quadrilateral with four
right angles and opposites sides are
equal.
