Compare 2d and 3d shapes All classroom objectives are based upon the Ohio Academic Standards and the new Common Core Standards. Polygon – a closed shape made up of 3 or more straight lines. A 2D shape. Quadrilateral – Any four sided polygon: squares, rectangles, rhombus, trapezoids. Right Triangle – A triangle having one right angle. Right angle – an angle that forms a square corner Ray – a line that starts at an endpoint and goes in one direction forever Upcoming Events Rhombus - A quadrilateral with opposite sides being parallel and all sides are the same length. December 13th – School Christmas Program Square – A rectangle with all sides equal.
