What Happens to Your
Recyclables?

picked up by a
recycling truck

to a Recycling Facility
• A facility can process
over 450 tons of
recyclables every day!
What Happens to Your
Recyclables?
Items are dumped onto the “tipping floor,”
pushed into a pit and placed on conveyor belts.

Recyclables?
Co-mingled items are then separated and baled
What Happens to Your
Recyclables?
Once the items are BALED they leave the recycling
facility and are used to create new products.
