Scratch. The Teen Masters (TM) is a scratch singles event.
Teen Masters Eligibility. To participate in the TM you must meet the following criteria:
 Student. You must be an active K-12 student whether in public, private, or home school.
 2.0 Grade Point Average. You need at least a "C" average (2.0 on 4.0 scale) to compete.
 Age. You must be born after December 31, 1997.
 Status. You may not be classified as an adult or professional bowler.
Participants are limited to 1 bowling ball during
qualifying. Approved balls include:
Divisions. The Teen Masters offers singles competition in four divisions:
 Teen Masters Boys & Girls Varsity
Includes those graduating in 2017
 Teen Masters Boys & Girls Junior Varsity Includes those born after December 31, 2002
Teen Masters Tournament Entry Fees.
 Online, 6 days in advance: $49
 Online, 1 to 5 days in advance: $55
 Onsite, day of the event: $60 in cash
Bowling Balls. To level the playing field, participants are limited to the use of one bowling
ball, either a polyester ball with a differential of 0.020 or less or a non-reactive urethane ball
with a differential of 0.010 or less. Balance holes less than 0.75” in diameter, grips, plugs and
interchangeable thumbs are allowed. Once practice begins, a player may not change balls
unless the ball becomes damaged beyond use.

Skill Long, a 40’ pattern using 7.8 mL of oil will be used on Saturday. Skill Short, a 30’ pattern

Entering Multiple Tournaments. Bowlers may enter multiple regional tournaments.
Invitations to the Championships. The top two bowlers in each division at each tournament
will automatically receive an invitation to compete in the Championships in Richmond, VA.
Additional bowlers in each division will be extended invitations on a space available basis.
The entry fee for the Championships is $275 prior to May 15 and includes two personalized
jerseys, 18 to 42 games of competition, credentials, and a ticket to the Welcome Celebration.
Closing Date. Registration for the 2017 Championships closes on June 1.
Refunds. A 10% fee will be charged on refunds. No refunds will be issued after May 15.
Publicity Release. By participating in the TM, the bowler and his/her parents/guardians
acknowledge Killer ‘B’ Promotions’ (KBP) right to make use of and to permit others to make
use of bowler's name, scores, voice, pictures, photographs and other likeness for any purpose
in any manner related to the advertising, broadcast, publication or promotion of TM.
Authority. KBP will determine any matters not covered in these rules.
