How will players qualify for the Player’s Championship?
• Daily events will be used to determine points; excluding Mega, WSOP Super, Summer Kickoff & Survivor events.
• Points will be earned based on buy-in amount, number of entries and player’s ranking in each event.
How many players will qualify for the Player’s Championship?
• Top 200 players based on total points earned.
• Players tied for 200th place will automatically qualify.
Players ranking will determine their starting chip stack
1-15 • 25,000
16-30 • 20,000
Rest of the field • 15,000
Most money won will be used as a tie breaker to determine the starting chip stack for the top 30 spots.
How will the prize pool be generated for the Player’s Championship?
• $3 from each buy-in will be deducted to fund the Player’s Championship.
• In the event of a shortfall Foxwoods will guarantee the $25,000 prize pool.
• In the event more than $25,000 is collected, the additional money will be added to the prize pool.
How many players will be paid in the Player’s Championship?
• Top 60 players will be paid
Points earned based on buy-in amounts
• 3 points / $80 and under
• 6 points / $100 to $160
• 9 points / $230 and up
