Step by step instructions:

2
Make the hair very wet.
First, the child sits leaning forward.
Apply a great deal of conditioner all over the hair (just apply
it in a layer all over the hair, do not massage it in).
3
Using a regular comb, comb the hair from back to front (from
the neck to the forehead). Until the hair is completely free of
tangles.
4
Using a louse comb, comb the hair from back to front
(from the neck to the forehead). Press your comb
against the scalp while combing. It is important for the
comb to touch the scalp.
Make sure you comb through the whole scalp. Start at
one ear and “stick” each section of hair up one-by-one
after combing it, until you get to the other ear.
5
6
Wipe the comb on white kitchen paper after each combing
movement and see if you can see any lice. You can see them
clearly against the white background.
If there are any lice stuck in the comb, use a toothpick to
remove them.
7
Now, the child sits upright.
Rinse the conditioner out of the hair.
Leave the hair very wet. The wetter, the better.

After treatment, lay the comb in water that is at a constant
60°C (140°F) or in a disinfectant solution for at least
30 minutes. Use a toothpick to remove the dead lice and the
nits from the comb.
The wet comb test can also help to get rid of
lice. But it does not always work. Ask your family
doctor or your pharmacist for help.
