RACE DAY INFORMATION
Location: McCubbins Gulch located on Mt. Hood
National Forest near Bear Springs Ranger Station
START TIMES & LOCATION
Location - At the bridge:
11:00 am Elite/Expert (CAT. I) Single Speed
11:10 am Sport (CAT II), JR Expert
11:10 am Clydesdale 200+,
Location - The registration site
11:20 am Novice (CAT. III)
Trail will be marked for Sat., April 30th
COURSE: Single lap format for all classes in rolling terrain,
starting with motorcycle trails, continuing on with very pristine
single tracks. All types of surfaces and trail conditions for
Elite/Expert Singlespeed (CAT. I) 30+miles. Sport (CAT. II)
uses shortened (CAT. I) course, 20 miles. Clydesdale 200+
Novice (CAT. III) ride 8.5 mile long single loop. By now
you should know to look at the arrows and pink ribbons,
instead of the rear tire in front of you!
DIRECTIONS / PARKING / CAMPING
From Portland: 71 miles on HWY 26 east, turn left onto
HWY 216 to Maupin. Turn left just after milepost 2
onto FS Rd. 2130 until you come to day use area that is
our Start/ Finish area. PLEASE PARK TIGHTLY along the road 2130.
Campsites should be available at Bear Springs Campground.
*NW Forest Pass is usually not required this early in the season*
