4. In-Class Telling:
Tell four (4) different stories in class. The stories will be from different genres, based on the class schedule.
Folktale/Fairytale (50 points)
Fact based/Family/Historical/Biographical (50 points)
Personal Story (50 points)
A one to two-minute Who Am I story (50 points)
Each of the TELLINGS (except the Who Am I) additionally include:
1. Story Preparation Forms – check schedule for due dates in Canvas (copies of info can be found in the PAGES SECTION)

7. Storytelling Event: Students may meet this requirement with EITHER of the two options listed

Attend a storytelling event and write a report evaluating the event and the performance (INCLUDED IN THE ASSIGNMENT

SUBMIT a hard copy of an EVENT PROGRAM or TICKET STUB or OTHER EVIDENCE THAT YOU ATTENDED
OR
2. A VIDEO VIEWING:
View a MINIMUM of three (3) DIFFERENT storyteller videos and write a report IN CANVAS evaluating each of the videos.

FOR EITHER OPTION YOU MUST ALSO COMPLETE and submit THE “STORYTELLING EVENT” ASSIGNMENT IN CANVAS

8. Final Assignment: Due by 2 PM on the second to last day of the semester (CHECK THE SCHEDULE), ONLINE IN CANVAS a
