pets! A Spanish Artist from Malaga
(Picasso’s birth city) will teach you
painting and drawing methods while you

Printmaking without a press!
With Chris Ann Ambery
This is a beginner to intermediate level
printmaking class, no prior printmaking
experience necessary. In this course
students will explore a variety of
monotype and relief printmaking

techniques. We will be using non-toxic
water soluble materials such as Akua inks
and Caran D’ ache crayons. Students are
encouraged to use their own imagery to
explore creative solutions to the
printmaking methods and experiment

High Italian renaissance
With Jay Schuck
A foundation course is designed for those
interested in the art produced in Central
Italy during the 15th – 16th centuries.
Artists of this period are known for their
close observation of the natural world and
human figures, sophisticated use of
iconography, and their innovations in
composition, perspective, and design. The
course acts as a continuation to Early
Italian Renaissance course and will
examine the artwork of Leonardo Da
Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, and their
contemporaries.

class based on his photo book
Waterviews: A Collection of
Photographs, Thoughts, and
Experiences. The class is interactive
as John brings up topics and hands
out weekly photo-shoot assignments
to get you involved. So, bring your
camera equipment, take lots of
outdoor pictures, and come prepared
to discuss your photo work while
learning from others. Topics include:
camera features, the technical side (or
how to adjust), waterscape photo
composition & techniques, natural
lighting, panorama photography,
wildlife photography-including the

“Color” The Artists Supreme Tool

An understanding of color helps to
ensure a successful creative journey for

Using left over stained glass pieces (glass
shards) and ceramic tiles (broken pieces)
and broken plates, the class will cover a
wooden box, serving tray, small table top,
terra cotta flower pot. Wooden framed
