How do you do it?
Questions 1: For Base-10 blocks, you’d have to split the two 10-unit sticks into two so you have four
5-unit pieces. That way, you can now take away one of each type (1 x 100, 1 x 5 and 1 unit) You’ll
then have…

Question 2: Whenever you divide by two, you’re cutting the dividend in half. Here’s one way:
