Lubbock provides an infrastructure for manufacturers to compete statewide, nationally and globally in the production of silicon wafer semiconductors, medical equipment, food technology & production, submersible pumps, precision plastic injection molding, renewable energy, agricultural technology and many other products. Lubbock has excellent rail access, almost 25 independent machine shops and great research and development operations including Bayer CropScience, Monsanto and Scott Labs.
