ADMIN APP
MILLENNIUM-2505
AWS Admin link not working in admin app
Customers can log in to admin app, but logins that have been assigned the "View AwsConfig" role get an
error message when they click the "AWS Admin" link. However, customers are able to access AWS
Admin by entering its direct URL after authenticating – appears to be the link that is challenged.

Fund field labels not internationalized
When login language is set to Spanish, field labels in fund record only display in English

URL Checker: shift-click does not checkmark multiple entries
When a user attempts to use Shift-Click keys to highlight multiple URLs in URL Checker, it only highlights
these multiple URLs but it does not checkmark them. The result is that the highlighted -–but not
checkmarked - URLs cannot be edited all at once.
MILLENNIUM-5677
CJK: Country name maintenance: Truncated internal Unicode value displays
If country name is more than 3 characters, the 4th character displays as a truncated Unicode value in
curly braces.
MILLENNIUM-5654
MILERM: client crashes when viewing checkin records, checkin records do not show in Webpac
When a user navigates from a bib record to a record summary and then a checkin record and then back
to the bib record, Millennium client crashes. The checkin record soft-linked to a resource record does
not show in Webpac.
MILLENNIUM-5326
Indexing: Unicode value in title not indexed correctly
A title that has a Unicode value in the first word and has the non-filing indicator (second indicator)
defined and has a subfield 6 is not indexed correctly so cannot be found using a Title search.
MILLENNIUM-4137
Expiration date of 2028 or later is changed during patron load
When loading patron records, the EXPIRATION DATE field becomes corrupted if the
field in the incoming record is 2028 or later. This means that any patron record
brought in with a 2028+ Expiration Date will have that field converted to some
other date (i.e. something in the 1990s) after the record has been fully loaded
into Millennium.
CIRCULATION
MILLENNIUM-5704
Due time incorrectly added to Due Date field for non-hourly loans when due date is changed
When you change the due date for non-hourly loan items using either the Change Due Date dialog
button or the Batch Due Date Extension feature then a due time of 12am now appears in the Due Date
fixed field. This happens only when the Field Type value for the DUE DATE field is set to h (display both
date and time).
MILLENNIUM-5662
Fines Payment Web Services: 2014 Sp1 now requires "invoice" field
2014 SP1 now produces error "Payments exceed fines for this patron" whenever entered invoice value is
"null". This always happens. This has caused 3rd party web developer services to now fail (preventing
patrons from being able to pay their fines using fines payment web services).
MILLENNIUM-5661
Circa Inventory Control: "Circa cannot perform the requested task" error after entering any barcode
In Circa client: when a user enters any barcode for inventory control error "Circa cannot perform the
requested task" produced. This happens for any barcode entered. They noticed this error, after
upgrading to release 2014 SP1. Prior to that release, they were prevented from using circa for only some
barcodes. Now they get this new error for all barcodes being scanned/entered.
MILLENNIUM-5631
"Recent Patrons" menu displays viewed patrons and the first patron to appear in search results
After searching for a patron in "Circulation Desk" mode and selecting the desired record from the
results, the session's "Recent Patrons" menu displays both the selected patron and the first patron listed
in the search results. Patrons that were not recently accessed should not be included in the "Recent
Patrons" list.
MILLENNIUM-5629
Millennium Circulation crashes when some items are checked out to a patron using a login assigned to
Chinese
Millennium Circulation crashes when some items are checked out using a login assigned to Chinese. The
same items check out normally when using a login assigned to English.
MILLENNIUM-5621
Millennium Express Lane gives wrong checkout failure message under certain circumstances
Under certain circumstances, Express Lane gives the wrong checkout failure message. The correct error
message is "This item record is currently not available" (item is in use), but instead the patron sees "This
item is on hold for another patron and cannot be checked out." That message is incorrect because the
existence of the hold is not the cause of the checkout block.
MILLENNIUM-5591
Unable to create item or patron records on the fly
Users get a "Your record .... could not be created" message when they select 'Save' after trying to create
a new item or patron record on the fly (see attached and steps to reproduce below). The problem
seems to be that a delimiter and a space are inserted before the barcode. If these are removed then the
patron record can be created as expected. This is the behavior regardless of the template that is
selected when creating the record. Also, the unexpected behavior does not occur when patron records
are created using the normal method.
MILLENNIUM-5516
Prompt to "change" item status at check-in when current status already matches Sticky Status
When an item's status matches that of its Sticky Status and is checked in, staff are unnecessarily
prompted to "change" the status.
MILLENNIUM-5491
SIP2 resetting item category counts incorrectly
If a patron checks out items matching conditions for ITEMA-ITEMD values, SIP2 will block correctly once
the patron reaches the item category maximum value. However, if the patron logs out (with a SIP2 35)
and tries to again check out items matching ITEMA-ITEMD values, the count for the particular ITEMA-D
value will reset to 0 until the patron again reaches the category maximum. It appears that the TOT ITEM
count is working ok as the ITEMA-ITEMD values are counted in the TOT ITEM count even after the item
categories reset to 0.
MILLENNIUM-5475
Due slip item due date incorrect when system date format is 'ymd yr-mo-dy'
Due Slip print templates print an incorrect 'Item_Due_Date' date when the system date format is
'ymdyr-mo-dy'.
This problem affects both default print templates
MILLENNIUM-5441
Print Templates for due slips and Email to Patron printer enabled, expected prompts do not appear
When Print Templates are turned on for due slips and Email to Patron printer is selected, the prompts to
send email to current email or to input a temporary email address when no email address is present in
the patron record, are not presented.
MILLENNIUM-5342
Unsuccessful TNS Pickup notices don't include ILL requests
Milcirc sends ILL pickup notices to Teleforms, and Teleforms can make the calls, but milcirc cannot send
Unsuccessful TNS Pickup notices for those items. Unsuccessful TNS Overdue notices for ILL items do
print.
MILLENNIUM-5283
Codes recently added to the eligibility file are unavailable for selection when editing program records
The eligibility file associates eligibility codes with a set of criteria used to determine whether patrons are
eligible to register for a program. Changes made to the eligibility file do not affect the current session.
To use modifications to this file, the docs state that you must "close and restart Millennium Program
Registration".
However, newly added codes do not appear as options to be added when editing existing or creating
new program records even after restarting Millennium sessions.
MILLENNIUM-4884
Item paging slip Print Templates truncates field data when an equal sign is present within the field
Item paging slip Print Templates truncates field data when an equal sign is present within the field. Data
printed within a Print Templates element should not be truncated if a special character like = is present
within a record field.
MILLENNIUM-4838
Program Registration: REG ON REC and TOTAL REG not updated
Fixed fields REG ON REC (269) and TOTAL REG (270) are not incremented when a patron registers for a
program. This is a problem not only because statistics the library runs on these fields will be inaccurate,
but because deletion rules use REG ON REC to prevent deletion of patrons who have registrations. If
REG ON REC is 0 when it should be 1 or greater, the application will allow staff to delete the patrons and
break those registrations.
MILLENNIUM-4803
Checking out non-holdable items unexpectedly fill bib-level holds
In cases where bib records contain both holdable and non-holdable items (as determined by the loan
rules), a title-level hold will be unexpectedly filled when the non-holdable item is checked out out to the
patron.
MILLENNIUM-4322
Patron ADDRESS 2 field isn't appearing on notices sent by auto notices
By default, Millennium Circulation includes the ADDRESS1 'a' tagged variable length field from the
patron record on circulation notices for all PTYPEs. When selecting notice parameters there is an option
to use the ADDRESS2 'h' tagged variable length field used for some (or all) PTYPEs. However, even when
the ADDRESS2 field is selected for auto notice jobs the ADDRESS1 field still appears on notices. This is
working as expected for manually prepared notices.
MILLENNIUM-2644
Replacement charge not reduced (different patron in circtrans)
When an item with claims returned notes from patron A is checked out to patron B, billed, and then
checked in, the bill for patron B is not reduced. This happens only when the option to "Remove claims
returned notes for checked-in items"
MILLENNIUM-673
Express Lane Date Due Slip Templates pulling unexpected values for Library_Address_Line_C elements
The Library_Address_Line_C elements for Express Lane Date Due Slip print templates appears to be
pulling data incorrectly.

Catalan Keyboard: control characters don't work
In Create Lists, when browsing records in a Review File from Show Records, the command ctrl + ] should
allow you to sroll forward to the next record and the command ctrl + [ should allow you to scroll
backwards to the previous record.
On a Catalan keyboard, the symbols ] and [ are produced by entering the command Alt Gr + ] and Alt Gr
+ [.
The Catalan keyboards can't manage CTRL-Close bracket or open bracket because these characters are
composed by the Alt Graphic key. However, the Spanish version has CTRL-Abajo (down arrow) and it
works using it.

Weekdays and 10 per year frequencies display as 'monthly'
When either "weekdays" or "10 per year" is selected as the checkin record frequency period, the
checkin summary tab incorrectly displays "monthly" as the frequency instead of the correct frequency
(i.e., "weekdays" or "10 per year").

It appears that when a checkin card has no boxes with status = "arrived", WebPAC crashes and truncates
the bib record display at the point where the holdings would appear.

WebBridge LR and Pathfinder Pro statistics cannot be selectively downloaded
Attempts to limit downloads of WebBridge LR or Pathfinder Pro statistics to selected resources and/or
origins fails for one reason or another (depending on platform and/or browser). In Millennium admin
app, using IE, every attempt to move an origin or resource out of the "Selected" column triggers the
download, which subsequently fails. In Mill/Firefox, attempts to limit to an origin or resource returns
"There are no statistics for the current parameters" after the stats are processed.
