FREE TEAM SHIRTS
By signing up at least 50 paid members on your
team by October 4, 2016 your entire team will
receive a FREE team shirt. These will be 100%
cotton short sleeve t-shirts with the event logo
on the front and YOUR TEAM logo or name on
the back in one color. For this shirt members of
your team can be employees, family, friends,
etc. - anyone on your team that registers and
pays the entry fee. This team t-shirt is in
addition to the race shirt - every paid team
member receives 2 shirts!
Another way to receive FREE team shirts with
your team logo is to raise at least $2,500 as a
team by October 4, 2016. (NOTE: the $2,500
does not include entry fees).

Team Check List
1.
Create a team page at www.choa.org/stronglegs
2. Tell your co-workers, family and friends about the page by sharing
the link from your team page with them
3. Register 50 team members by October 5, 2015 in order to receive FREE
Team Shirts.
4. Send your team name and or logo to [email protected] by October 5,
2015. A logo is best if it is in a JPG format but a PDF format will work as well.
Remember that your team name/logo will be in one color on the back of the
shirt.
5. Keep raising money on your team page to try to win the Team Tent at the
race or a Team Table. You will have until October 12, 2015 to raise the funds
needed to qualify. See enclosed information.
6. Remember that funds raised will go to several areas within Children’s
Healthcare of Atlanta.

Dear Friends of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta:
It is time once again to get geared up for the 32nd Annual Associated Credit Union Strong Legs
Run/Walk benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This multi-divisional road race will be
held on Saturday, November 5, 2016. It begins and ends at Turner Field and will include a 10K,
5K, 2K Fun Run, and Mascot Trot. This is one of Atlanta’s largest road races and draws
between 3,500-4,000 participants annually. The Associated Credit Union Strong Legs Run is
also a qualifier for the 2017 AJC Peachtree Road Race and all 10K & 5K timed participants will
be able to look up their results following the race on our website www.choa.org/stronglegs.
At Children’s, our mission is to enhance the lives of children through excellence in patient care,
research and education. Children’s addresses the unique needs of sick and injured children
and their families with specially trained physicians and staff, equipment designed for young
growing bodies and a child friendly environment. Children’s has been recognized for excellence
in cardiology, cancer treatment, craniofacial surgery, emergency medicine, orthopedics,
rehabilitation and transplantation services among many other pediatric services. With 575 beds
in three hospitals, Children’s is one of the largest pediatric healthcare systems in the country.

Through annual fundraising events such as the Associated Credit Union Strong Legs Run,
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks to involve members of the community in joining in to help
support its mission. Your participation through a corporate or organization team, and/or raising
money through the Friends Asking Friends donation program is a great way to show your
support. Awards will be presented to the teams with the greatest participation as well as most
spirited and most creative.
Exciting News for 2016 -
FREE Team T-shirts will now be distributed to teams that register and pay for 50 team
members or more by October 4, 2016. You can also earn FREE team shirts by raising
$2,500 or more by October 4, 2016. Note: This $2,500 is above the entry fees that
each team member pays. And regardless of the number of team members you have by
October 4 if your team raises at least $2,500 by this date you will also receive the FREE
team shirts for those registered on your team by October 4, 2016.

Team Participation – Exciting News for 2016!!!
Friends Asking Friends donation campaign - We are asking you to ask your friends, family,
co-workers and others to help make a difference in the life of a child and join your TEAM.
Please go to our website at www.choa.org/stronglegs and create your own TEAM page and
send via email to teammates. It’s that easy to get your team together and start raising money.
By collecting donations, you can make your participation in the Associated Credit Union Strong
Legs Run/Walk go further toward helping the patients and families at Children’s Healthcare of
Atlanta. Teams are eligible to win team awards for being creative, spirited and for most
participants.
Team Prizes –
Team T-shirts will be given to any team that registers at least 50 team members or more OR
each on a team that raises a minimum of $2,500 by October 4, 2016. Team T-shirts will be
short sleeve 100% cotton with your team logo or name on the back of the shirts in one color.
NOTE: Donation total does not include entry fee. Please note that everyone that pays the entry
fee for the event receives the long sleeve race shirt. This team shirt is an extra shirt.
Team Tables will be given to any team that registers at least 30 team members or more by
October 11, 2016. One team table per team will be available for the 30 team members that
have paid the registration fee by this date. This table can be used as a gathering spot for your
team. Your team can also win a team table if you raise at least $2,000 – you may not have 30
team members but if you can raise the money we will gladly provide you with a team table.
Funds must be raised by October 11, 2016 and funds cannot include registration fees.
Team donations totaling $5,000 or more will receive a FREE 10 x 10 tented space complete
with VIP treatment and access to indoor restrooms plus pre/post-race breakfast in your tent for
your team. NOTE: Team totals must reach this goal by October11, 2016 to qualify. Team
totals DO NOT include entry fees.

**Artwork: Artwork must be submitted in a camera-ready art form. This means we need it to
be on a black and white logo slick. We can also accept it via email in an EPS or JPEG format.
Please email logo to [email protected]. We cannot accept photocopies of your logo or
hand drawn logos. If we do not receive your logo by October 4, 2016 we will go ahead and print
your team name on the back of the T-shirt in a font of our choice.
