There is not a strict obligation to attend services, but you are encouraged to join us for one or more of the liturgies of Good Friday if at all possible (please see schedule on page 3). FAST, ABSTINENCE, OTHER ACTS OF PENANCE All persons who are 14 years of age and older are bound to abstain from eating meat on Good Friday. All persons 18 years of age and older, up to and including their 59th, are bound to fast by limiting themselves to a single full meal on Good Friday, while the other two meals on those days are to be light. HOW WILL YOU ACCOMPANY OUR LORD DURING THIS HOLY WEEK? Why not set aside time each day to read or listen to something to draw you closer to Christ. Pick up something from our Resource Display -- a booklet or book to read before bed or a CD to listen to while driving to work or errands. Thank you for your generous donations to our display that help to support the mission of Stewardship: A Mission of Faith and Augustine Institute to bring these resources to more parishes.
