BC HYDRO SMART METER CHOICES PROGRAM EXHIBIT E-416 From: Sent: To: Subject: Bowser Bonkers Wednesday, October 16, 2013 1:04 PM Commission Secretary BCUC:EX No smart meter in my world or on my home in Bowser BC BC Hydro has placed itself in a bankrupt position by the run of the river deals they signed and they are going to make the general public pay for their mistakes by time of use billing, rates being higher at supper time and on weekends when the working public are home and using hydro the most. 2 AM will be the time to roast your turkey or do your laundry if the commission lets them do this outrageous kind of billing. They are going to monitor usage of appliances and SELL that information to manufacturers and other interested persons and I will not give them my permission to invade my privacy like that. Why should they know when I plug in and use an electric Vibrator or electric Blanket in my bedroom? They sell power to commercial enterprises and at much cheaper rate than to the general public. I am a pensioner living on $1200 a month. I cannot afford hydro to keep raising the rates. I am effected by Wi-Fi and EMR in general and will not allow it on my home. If they raise the rates any further or force a digital meter upon my home I will disconnect the hydro wire from my home and live like my grandparents did burning wood for heat and using candles for light. THE CORPORATION GOVERNMENT HAS TERMINAL CANCER and it is effecting all of the citizens of BC. Len Walker When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.
