Logo color variations
Dictionary dark blue
Primary usage
When the logo appears on a white background,
use the primary, authorized Dictionary Dark blue
(PANTONE® 654 abbreviated PMS 654).
Dictionary medium blue
Printed materials
Stationary systems such as letterheads and business cards will employ this slightly lighter variation
of the Dictionary.com blue.

Going too small, however, can
damage the mark’s integrity
and effectiveness.

Alternative color backgrounds
The primary Dictionary.com dark blue
(PMS 654) is preferred when you
need a blue background. When using
blue as a background, reverse out the
logo as shown.
Alternate Blue Colors
Two other blue hues; PMS 647 and
PMS 2727 are also acceptable for
certain usages.
PMS 647 is used in printed collateral
PMS 2727 is used in mobile apps
Sub-branding under Dictionary.com
Limited usage of sub-branding is
permitted as demonstrated. Align the
ascender of the sub-brand with the end
point of the circle in the mark.
Note that the typeface must be Vista
Sans Italic and that the type must not
extend beyond the distance between
the letter “c” and the letter “r” in the
Dictionary.com mark.
