he term “black hole” has found its way into modern culture. But what
are black holes? Do they really exist? Is a black hole the same as a
“wormhole”? How do black holes and wormholes affect space and
time? And is it really possible to build a time machine, as some
physicists have claimed? These are just a few of the questions that will be
explored by physicist David Carico in this talk about some of nature’s
strangest phenomena.
Black Holes, Wormholes, and Time Travel is open to the public and free of
