A view into Loren’s collection room Loren has been collecting, writing and lecturing on British transfer-printed wares in the Chinoiserie style for over 30 years. While his collection primarily focuses on patterns from 1780-1830, it includes examples up to the latter part of the 19th century and many unusual shapes printed both in a single color as well as printed and painted forms. Loren lives in Gilbert in the Southeast Valley. Nick, a busy banking executive, is a collector of many things from early American pressed glass to New England furniture, samplers and quilts, all of which you will enjoy seeing. But the primary focus of our visit will be on his world-class collection of American Historical Staffordshire. Nick lives in North Phoenix.
