Versatile Wave
Interchangeable Purse. Basic Purse with Zipper, interchangeable straps and covers.
When:
Saturday, April 8th, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where:
Fayette County Extension Office,
1140 Red Mile Place, Lexington.
Cost:
$30.00, fee includes pattern and swivel
clasps.
Materials Needed: Basic purse, lining, pockets & straps (All
the same fabric): Fabric A - 1 yard for basic
purse and lining (If you want a different lining, use
2/3 yard for this). Batting for basic purse and
straps: 3/4 yard of Warm & Natural or Thermolam. Fabric for
each reversible purse cover: Fabric B - 1/3 yard or fat quarter.
Fabric C - 1/3 yard or fat quarter. Fusible interfacing: 3/4 yard
at least 40" wide of Decor Bond. Notions: 14 inch regular or
separating sport zipper or 12 inch purse zipper, 2 large buttons,
single fold bias tape (for loops if you are not making them), thread
to match, 1 yard cording for piping (optional), 4 purse feet
optional).
Miscellaneous: Class is limited to 15 participants. Participants are encouraged to
bringtheir own sewing machine if in good working order. Some
machines are available thru the Extension Office.
