Teaching Programme 1
This half term I am learning:
 How to introduce myself in Spanish and give basic details about myself.
By the end of this half term I will:
 Be able to say my name and greet people.
 Be able to say the alphabet.
 Understand classroom instructions.
 Learn the months of the year and my numbers from 1 to 31.
 Be able to talk about different nationalities.
In TP1/1&2 Classwork I will:

Learn how to say my name and greet people in

Spanish. I will practice Spanish names and
discuss where Spanish is spoken in the world.
Learn how to pronounce the Spanish alphabet as
well as spell simple Spanish words. I will also be
able to spell my own name and recognize others.

Learn how to understand classroom instructions in
Spanish and learn the names of different
classroom objects. I will start to use the target
language in lessons.
Learn how to say how old I am and ask other
people for their age. I will also learn the numbers
1 to 31 and look at how the verb tener is used in
the present tense. Also I will learn the days of the
week and the months of the year so that I can
write key dates in Spanish.
