Product Title:
 All words begin with a capital letter followed by lower-case letters. Filler words (and, with,
etc…) can be all lower case. (ex: 30 Sucks Birthday Lollipops with Sticks)
 Do not use any punctuation.
 If the package includes multiple quantities then include the count. (ex: 30 Sucks Birthday
Lollipop 2ct or 48pc) Do not include a space between number and ct or pc and do not end put a
period at the end.
 If the item is candy and it is individually wrapped then include the count. (ex: Kiddie Mix Candy
365ct)
 If the item is candy and is not individually wrapped then include the weight. (ex: Jordan Almonds
Assorted Colors Favor Candy 44oz)
 If the item is a volume container include the measurement, but again with no punctuation. (ex:
Clear Bowls 24oz 8ct).
 Do not use any other measurements in the product title.
 SEO – Lead off the product title with the most direct or relevant description of the item that also
is the most direct or relevant product category. (ex: Minnie Mouse Bows Banner)
Product Description:
 Use grammatically correct full sentences with punctuation.
 Do not start the product description with “Need a… ?”.
 Make sure the first sentence creates the “need” for a customer as opposed to asking the
customer if he/she has the need for that product.
 Use keywords by subject, but make sure that the sentence sounds “natural” and do not keyword
stuff.
 Include full product description of each item. Use whimsical copy to draw the customer in, but
include key words for SEO purposes. (A sophisticated, classic way to favor your guest! Our
Jordan Almonds Assorted Colors Favor Candy is a traditional candy used for weddings, showers
and celebrations! Jordan almonds are certified Kosher. Each package features a 44 ounce bag of

 Do not spell out numbers.
 Spell out ounce, inch, count, piece, etc.
 Use the word “measures” instead of “is”. (ex: Each plate measures 7 inches in diameter.)
 Use fractions instead of decimals. If a whole number is part of the fraction, then link them with
a dash. (ex: Each plate measures 10-1/2 inches in diameter.)
 Put the count in the last sentence. (ex: Each plate measures 7 inches in diameter and comes in a
pack of 8.)
 Spell out “and” instead of the ampersand in the title.
 Spell out “by” instead of using “x”
 The first sentence is THE chance to grab the customer’s attention and have a keyword. It should
set the stage per se to get the customer thinking about their upcoming event. It is also the
perfect place to create a “need”.
(ex: Show how smitten you are with your sweetie with a wonderfully whimsical
birthday party! The Sweet Stuff Birthday Beverage Napkin features a whimsical "Happy



 Images are to be clipped with white background when available. Can be a lifestyle image to
showcase merchandise and may not have a white background.
 Images are to be named by product before uploading for SEO.
 By correctly naming the image the image title will auto-populate.
 Add alternate text for the image using key words in addition to the title.
