INCIDENT SUMMARY:
Update #1 (12-08-15 / 10:00am)
The investigation thus far has led us to the possibility that the missing person , may be in the company of
a long term family friend, Luis Eduardo Carvajal. It is not known if she is with him of her own free will.
The two may possibly be traveling in a gray 2015 Dodge Caravan with a Florida tag DIZX14 to an
unknown location. Mr. Caravjal is a hispanic white/male, 48 years of age, 6'00", 200 lbs, short brown
hair, brown eyes, 120 NW 218 Way, Pembroke Pines, FL and was last seen wearing a black shirt and
black shorts.

This is an active investigation at this time and no further information will be released.

On 12-08-2015 at 12:10am members of the Pembroke Pines Police Department responded to the parking
lot of this business after a call for service was generated by a family member. Upon police arrival it was
determined that Mrs. Rodriguez had earlier left her home in western Pembroke Pines to purchase items
at the Publix. She did not return home and was last seen on the store's surveillance system leaving the
building and entering the parking lot shortly after 10pm on 12-07-2015. When she did not return home,
the family responded to the Publix and located her locked vehicle, containing her groceries, within the
parking lot. A search of the immediate area by members of the Pembroke Pines Police Department has
not located Mrs. Rodriguez. Investigators are actively attempting to locate Mrs. Rodriguez at this time.
