CONDITIONS AND RULES
1. Entries are open to all.
2. All entries must include a £5.00 payment to cover insurance for the Show.
3. All entries where possible in advance. Late entries will be accepted on the day at a cost of £3.00 per class
above the class fee.
4. Hard hats to Pony Club standard are required and body protectors are highly recommended.
5. Correct footwear must be worn.
6. Horses/Ponies must be 4 years or over.
7. Lead rein riders must stay on lead rein throughout the show and must be led by a responsible person who is
suitably dressed. Lead rein riders are eligible for Classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
8. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and litter should be placed in bins provided. Droppings and hay
should be cleared and placed in the skip provided.
9. Motorbikes, moped or bicycles may not be ridden on the Show Ground.
10. The Committee reserves the right to amalgamate, divide or alter classes subject to the number of entries
received.
11. All entrants must nominate a helper on the entry form.
12. TROPHIES MUST BE RETURNED TO JACQUI SPENCE BY FRIDAY 13TH JANUARY who will be contacting all
trophy winners in the next week AND SHOULD BE ENGRAVED AND CLEAN.
13. HEALTH & SAFETY. The Organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of
everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to
avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and
stewards.
14. The parking area for horse boxes/trailers will be very busy during the period of the show. Please ensure that
you park sensibly giving yourself adequate space between vehicles to prepare your horse/pony.
Horses/ponies should not be left tied up to the side of a horse box/trailer.
15. LEGAL LIABILITY. Neither the Organisers, nor the land owners, nor any person acting on their behalf, can be
held responsible or accept any liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to competitors,
spectators or any persons, animals, vehicles or property whatsoever resulting directly or indirectly from this
event.

Classes 1, 2, 3 may be split depending on entries.
Optimum time – a time will be set, based on a steady round, for the shortened jump
off course and the rider/pony combination who gets closest to the time with the least
faults will be the winner.
