LIVE AUDITION (Advanced Workshop Students only) Audition live on April 30 between 10:00AM – 2:00 PM at Traverse City West Senior High School where we’ll take a photo of you and VIDEO your audition. Contact [email protected] to schedule your audition time. ONLINE AUDITION (Advanced and Broadway Intensive) -­‐ Submit a video audition. Upload a video of your 32 bar song cut or a short dance. Make sure to set the video as “public” or “unlisted”. Fill out a registration form and include a picture of yourself (head shot or selfie) and paste the link of your video in the email. CHECK IN/REGISTRATION DAY Monday, August 22-­‐ Registration/Check In for both classes at designated venue (Broadway Intensive at COH and Advanced Workshop at TC West Senior High School) opens at 9:00 AM. Please arrive no later than 9:30 AM the first day. Be sure your registration packet has been turned in or with you at registration. FACULTY INTRODUCTIONS All parents are welcome to join faculty for a brief introduction of the Broadway Teaching artists and to ask any questions you may have about the program. The meeting will begin at 10AM at the designated venue based on which program your child is enrolled in and likely last approximately 15 minutes. COME PREPARED MATERIAL • Bring your sheet music with cuts clearly indicated so we can work with you on your voice and acting choices. o THE AUDITION – Broadway Intensive = 1 song. CLOTHING • Wear comfortable active clothing and shoes that you can move and dance in. • Attire for the final performance will be addressed during the week. Attire will be something you most likely have in your wardrobe and not need to purchase. FOOD • Please pack your own lunch or snacks, and any necessary utensils to eat. We will provide access to a refrigerator. • We provide water coolers for the participants throughout the day and evening. • We are a green venue, so we request that you bring your own re-­‐usable water container with a lid/cap to prevent spills. Ten hour meters are available in the city lot on the corner of Union and Grandview Parkway.
