for students of all ages and belt
ranks. Events will include formal
katas, free sparing, and traditional
martial arts weapons forms. A special Black Belt demonstntioo will be
presented to exhibit self-defense,
breaking and KI energy techniques at
2p.m.
Competitorsfromas far away as
North Dakota, Michigan, Missouri,
as well as all parts of New York
State and Ontario, Canada will participate in one of the largest traditional tournaments in the east. The
general public is welcome to view
all events throughout the day. Proceeds will support educational and
recreational programs at the Watertown Family YMCA.
Northern classes will be represented by competing students from
Gouverneur, Edwards, Harrisville,
Philadelphia, Heuvelton, Star Lake
and Canton. Local programs are
taught at the East Side School and
