Travel Instructions
TRAVEL INSTRUCTIONS TO SHUTTLE STOPS
NO PRIVATE VEHICLES will be allowed on the Golden Gate Bridge the weekend
of January 10-11 during the closure. The District will provide shuttle service from
designated lots for all of our guests to the Moveable Median Barrier ceremony at
the Golden Gate Bridge. We plan on a prompt start. It is very important you are
on time and do not miss the shuttle departure. Please check-in with staff prior to
boarding the bus.
COMING FROM THE NORTH
Off of Highway 101 take the Stinson Beach exit (Exit 455B) and turn right onto
Shoreline Highway. Make a left on Pohono St. and park in the lot. Look for special event signs and check-in tent.
COMING FROM THE SOUTH
To get to the Fort Scott area parking lot, enter the Presidio Gate located at 14th Ave.
and Lake St. At stop sign, turn left onto Wedemeyer. Stay on Wedemeyer and go up
the hill. Turn left onto Washington Blvd. Turn right onto Lincoln Blvd. Follow Lincoln
approximately .2 miles – parking lot is located to the right. Look for special event
signs and check-in tent.
