Hours of Service, Continued: We start and stop both routes at the State Fair Shopping Center (Transfer Stop). We are closed on major holidays and during inclement weather. Major stops on the map shows the minutes (:xx) after each hour the bus is scheduled to be at the stop during the hours of service above. The Route A bus stops at each location on the route every 30 minutes. The Route B bus stops at each location on the route every 60 minutes but stops at the transfer stop location every 30 minutes. Bus Fares Rides of all services listed on this schedule are $1.50 cash per person per ride, but kids 12 and under ride for 50¢ cash. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Prices became effective July 1, 2012. Prepaid Punch Cards. Anyone may purchase prepaid punch cards for $1.25 per ride: $5 for 4 rides (save $1) $15 for 12 rides (save $3) $20 for 16 rides (save $4) Cards may be purchased from The Bus driver, at the OATS office, or may be obtained through some local agencies. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced. Cards are transferable and can be used by whoever has it in their possession. Multiple riders can use a Card at the same or different times—the Card will be punched once per rider per ride regardless of who is using it or the number of riders using it at the time, up to but not more than the number of rides remaining on the Card. Cards should be treated as cash and are nonrefundable. Transfers are free from Route A to Route B or from Route B to Route A. No transfer tickets are required. For riders who need assistance, Accessible Service is available by calling at least one day in advance. In addition to boarding the bus at the specified stops listed on this bus schedule, riders can request a Deviated Stop to be picked up or dropped off up to 3/4 of a mile off the fixed bus routes shown on the map on the back of this schedule. The pickup and drop off locations for Accessible Service and Deviated Stops will be at the curb. Serving Sedalia, ADA and Deviated Stop Reservations must be made at least one day in advance and are subject to approval by OATS. Accessible Service and Deviated Stops are available during the same Hours of Service as shown on the front of this schedule and fares are the same as the Bus Fares above. Missouri Ridership Courtesy Space may be limited. We know that many of our riders purchase groceries and other items and our drivers want to help as much as they can, but the bus drivers are not allowed to help you with your packages to or from the vehicle. Riders are limited to the number and size of packages at the bus driver’s sole discretion. We want you to enjoy your ride on the bus, but we want to be sure other riders also enjoy the ride. Please be ready to board when the bus arrives, be courteous and remain seat-belted while on board, and be ready to get off the bus at your stop. ROUTE MAP INSIDE! All stops must be safe. Flag stops are permitted on route, as long as they are safe and legal. If any stop is deemed to be unsafe or illegal for any reason, the driver must continue to the next safe and legal stop. Please don’t request a pick up or drop off where it’s unsafe or illegal. It is at the driver’s discretion to determine whether a stop is safe and legal. On Time Although we strive to stay on time for each of our stops, we may run up to 10 minutes late from time to time due to unforeseen reasons. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we work to get back on schedule. We may also run up to 5 minutes early at some stops. Please plan your trips accordingly. GET ON THE BUS!
