Here is the story as told by Captain Ron Littlejohn:
Fishing with Dave in the morning talking about how he has been going out with
me for nine years and looking for his BIG Brown Trout to mount on the wall!
Last year he had a nice brown mounted about 9lbs. Because he is getting
impatient!
We started out by catching a Salmon, Lake Trout, Steelhead (not necessarily
in that order)
Dave was now up to bat and I told him now was the time to catch that big
Brown he has been wanting all these years.
The downrigger rod goes off and Dave is on it and you can tell it is a good
fish.
He fights the fish for a good five minutes and I go for the net.
As I watch the line and give Dave some coaching and the fish comes to the
surface I see the fish and the color, which looks like a big Brown Dave!!!!
Don't lose this thing!!!
Well to make it short, it was a big Brown Trout,, 22.01 lbs. weighed in on
the certified scale at Woody's Tackle Shop and it took top prize in the 2014
Fall LOC Derby.
Dave finally got his wall hanger Brown Trout!
