DOMINANDO CON LOS MARLINS: WQBA 1140 AM will be hosting Dominando con los Marlins presented by

CBS4 FOR $54: At every Marlins Friday home game, fans have the opportunity to take advantage of a special ticket

FRIDAY NIGHTS ARE FUN: The Florida Marlins Community Foundation hosts a key fundraiser every Friday night
during Marlins home games at the Broward Health Community Corner, section 149. Fans can check out the raffle, silent
auction, grab bags, mystery table and other special features. The excitement starts when the gates open at 5:30 and
continues until the final out of the third inning.
WOMEN OF TOMORROW CHECK PRESENTATION: The Florida Marlins Community Foundation donated
$5,000 for a Women of Tomorrow Scholarship. Basheba “Abby” Brown, the 2008 scholarship recipient, will be honored
in a pre-game ceremony on August 29th. Florida Marlins Community Foundation employees and Women of Tomorrow
mentors Nancy Olson and Kelly Schnackenberg will present the check to “Abby.” Joining them will be Bianca Erickson,
Executive Director of Women of Tomorrow; Judge Linda Pratt, “Abby’s” school mentor and Ellen Williams, Stranahan
High School schools coordinator. “Abby” also received a nursing scholarship form Broward Health and is enrolled at
Broward College.
ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SEATS: Forget worrying about grabbing dinner before you come to the game, now you can eat
and drink all you want for one low price with the Marlins new All-You-Can-Eat Seats! Food and beverages are served
out of a private concession stand, just around the corner from your seats. All-You-Can-Eat includes: Hot
dogs, Nachos, Peanuts, Popcorn and Fountain Drinks. All-you-can-eat inclusive menu items will be available from the
time gates open and will end two hours after the scheduled first pitch time. Items are subject to limits per person, per visit
to the concession stand. Alcoholic beverages and dessert items are not included, but will be available for purchase.

MARLINS MASTERPIECES SUMMER SERIES: The Grand Prize Winner and runner-ups of the 2008 Marlins
Masterpieces Summer Series will be recognized during a pregame ceremony. The Summer Series challenged summer
campers from Abriendo Puertas in Little Havana to transform a Marlins T-shirt into their own Masterpiece – featuring
artwork of their summer vacation.

FDOT CLICK IT OR TICKET: The Florida Marlins and the Florida Department of Transportation are partnering once
again to promote seat belt safety and reward safe drivers prior to the Marlins vs. Mets game on Saturday, August, 30. The
initiative will help ensure that Marlins fans "Buckle Up. Every trip. Every time." As part of the initiative local law
enforcement officers will be rewarding Marlins fans that are properly wearing their seat belts with two Marlins ticket
vouchers to future regular season home games. Ticket vouchers will be distributed to select fans as they enter the Dolphin
Stadium parking lots.
OFFICERS HONORED: The Florida Department of Transportation will be recognizing local law enforcement officers
that have gone above and beyond the call of duty.
SUPER SATURDAY AUTOGRAPH SIGNING: Every Saturday home game will feature autograph sessions in both
Strike Zone tents with celebrities, players, and Marlins alumni between 5:30-7 p.m. Cookie Rojas will be signing from
5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the G-side tent and Los Pichy Boys (El Sol 95.7 morning show hosts) will be signing from 6 to 6:30

SUPER SATURDAY RAFFLE: The Florida Marlins Community Foundation holds a raffle at each Saturday home game

OLGA TAñON SUPER SATURDAY CONCERT: Puerto Rican five-time Grammy award-winner, and recipient of 19
Premios Lo Nuestro awards, Olga Tañon started her musical career in the 80's, but began her solo career in 1992. Tañon
earned her first double-platinum record for her album "Siente el Amor." She later went on to record a Tex-Mex album
with Mexican renowned singer Marco Antonio Solis, which turned her into the first Puerto Rican artist to be certified by
the Recording Industry Association of America to have sold half a million records.

Redbird (Jupiter Cardinals), Hotshot (Miami Fusion), Ringo the Flamingo (Miami Seaquarium), and Murtle the Turtle

MILITARY TICKET OFFER: The "Stars and Stripes" ticket program for the United States Military staff allows Active
and Reserve personnel, National Guard, and their dependents, to attend Sunday Marlins regular season games at no cost.
To receive complimentary tickets, eligible military personnel, or dependents, must present their military identification
card (DOD or Homeland Security Cards) at the Gate F box office at Dolphin Stadium, on the day of the game, at least one
hour prior to the start of the regular season game. This program is good for Bullpen Box tickets for all 13 Sunday regular
season Marlins home games. Tickets are subject to availability.
SNAPSHOT SUNDAY: The first 100 fans in line at Snapshot Sunday will be able to have their photograph taken with a
Marlins player. Fans are reminded to bring their own camera. Snapshot Sunday is located at Strike Zone at Gate H and
opens at 11 a.m. Billy The Marlin and the Marlins Mermaids will also be on hand for photographs at various times.
FAMILY FUNZONE: The Family Funzone includes bounce houses, live music with a DJ, a mini-carousel, inflatables,
and live entertainment. The Family Funzone is located outside of section 146 along with Marlins Fan Headquarters.
WALGREENS FAMILY SUNDAY: With the purchase of select products from any participating Walgreens stores in
Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach counties, fans can bring the receipt and proof of purchase to the box office and get
one free Club B ticket with the purchase of one Club B ticket. Participating products include: Pepsi, Celsius, Resurrect
Vida Tea, Snyder’s pretzels, Wise potato chips, Hawaiian Tropics/Banana Boat.
50-50 RAFFLE: The Florida Marlins Community Foundation will host a 50-50 Raffle at the Broward Health Community
Corner, section 149, and the Gate H Plaza every Sunday during the 2008 season. Fans may purchase raffle tickets for $1
or six for $5 from the time the gates open until the final out of the third inning. One lucky winner will receive one-half of
the money collected for the raffle that day. The other half will be used for the Cornerstones for Kids programs. The
winner will be announced during the game as well as contacted by the Florida Marlins Community Foundation.
NESTLÉ DRUMSTICK DIAMOND DASH: Kids ages 12-and-under will have the opportunity to run the bases after
the game during the Nestlé Drumstick Diamond Dash (weather permitting). Once the game has ended, kids and parents
(or chaperons) should report to the concourse of section 141-142, where the guests will be escorted on to the field.

ROBERTO CLEMENTE AWARD PRESENTATION: The Florida Marlins nominee for the 2008 Roberto Clemente
Award, presented by Chevrolet, will be announced prior to the game. As the Club’s recipient, he will be eligible for the
2008 Roberto Clemente Award, which is given annually to the Major League Baseball player who combines outstanding
skills on the baseball field with devoted work in the community. The Roberto Clemente Award presented by Chevrolet,
recognizes those players who best exemplify the game of baseball through sportsmanship, community involvement and
positive contributions to their teams. The award is named for Clemente, a 12-time All-Star and Hall of Famer who was
killed on New Year’s Eve 1972 while attempting to deliver supplies to earthquake victims in Nicaragua. This award
perpetuates Clemente’s memory and character by recognizing current-day players who truly understand the value of
helping others.

CELEBRATION CLUB: The Florida Marlins Community Foundation allows fans to display a message on Marlins
Vision. Personalized messages will be shown in the middle of the 6th inning of every Marlins home game on the right
field board. Messages will run for the first 12 people who call the Marlins office to make a reservation or sign up at
www.cornerstonesforkids.com. Fans taking advantage of this program will also receive a framed picture of the message.
The cost is $50.00 per message, with all proceeds benefiting the Florida Marlins Community Foundation. In addition,
each caller will have the option to pick up one dozen roses or a gift bag (adult or child’s) at the Broward Health
Community Corner for an additional fee.
Billy the Marlin or the Marlins Mermaids can deliver a gift bag and/or roses directly to a fan’s seat location for a $100
donation. If it is a fan’s birthday, Billy/Mermaids will lead the section to sing “Happy Birthday.” The first person to
place a reservation for a message and gift bag/roses will be featured on Marlins Vision as the Al’s Florist & Gifts “Catch
of the Day.” Cost of the “Catch of the Day” is $150. Also, one child a game can accompany Billy the Marlin on the field
during the 7th inning stretch to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” for a $100 donation.
Note: Marriage proposals can be arranged. The cost is a $250 donation, which includes a dozen roses. This requires
special coordination so the more notice the better. This request should always be filtered through the Community
Foundation. Payment must be received 24 hours prior to the scheduled game. Fans should call (305) 623-6497 to make a
reservation.
BROWARD HEALTH COMMUNITY CORNER: The Broward Health Community Corner consists of two kiosks at
section 149 and serves as the headquarters for the Florida Marlins community programs. The Florida Marlins Community
Foundation will staff their kiosk every game from the time the gates open until the last out of the third inning. Auctions,
raffles, and Marlins official Game Programs, Score Cards, Year Books and Media Guides are available. Look for great
deals on excellent seats including the Batter’s Box thanks to ticket donations to the Foundation!
PAPA JOHN’S 10-STRIKEOUTS PROMOTION: Every time the Marlins pitching staff records 10 or more strikeouts
at a home game, fans can take their game ticket to participating Papa John’s locations in exchange for a small pizza.
Promotion is valid for eat-in-only and must be redeemed within 48 hours.
MARLINS RADIO NETWORK: All 162 regular season games will be broadcast on 790 The Ticket and the Marlins
Radio Network in English and on WQBA 1140 AM in Spanish. The Marlins Radio Network consists of: WSWN 900 AM
