Katy’s Doll
by Sofia MARTINEZ, Mar MOSSEL and Pauline DOTT 4e1
The Smiths were living in a house in the middle of the
forest. They were five: the parents, the twins whose
names were James and Luke and the little sister, Katy.
That week, on Friday, it was Katy’s birthday. Her parents decided to give
her a special present, a nice doll which looked exactly like the little girl.
Katy loved her doll and she called her Daisy, she took many photos with
her new toy, she was always playing with Daisy. But Katy’s brothers
didn’t like the doll because they thought she was gloomy. They said that
there was something strange in its eyes... Sometimes they just hid Daisy
to annoy their sister.
One day, Luke told his parents that James was dead and Daisy was the
murderer. He seemed scared and that’s why his parents decided to listen
to him and follow him to the room where his twin’s body was. James
grabbed a ribbon with blood, it was Daisy’s ribbon.
The days after James’s death, Luke was getting crazy so his parents
decided to send him in a psychiatric hospital.
The same day, at midnight their house was on fire. All the family who
was inside the house was dead. The firefighters said that the fire was
intentional and found little footprints in the mud near the house. Daisy
had disappeared.
Ten years later, Luke left the mental hospital. When he was going past an
antique shop, he saw Daisy. The doll was a little bit burned, she didn’t
wear her ribbon and she still had mud on her feet. Luke stood looking at
her, paralyzed. Suddenly, the doll opened its eyes and smiled at him…

THE STRANGE ROOM

The end.
On the 31st October, Laura, Lucas and Sophie
went to the haunted orphanage to celebrate
Halloween. Suddenly, at midnight, Sophie
disappeared. Lucas and Laura were very scared
and heard a weird noise. They thought it was
Sophie, so they turned around and they saw a
child ghost whose name was Thomas. Laura
and Lucas screamed and ran away. In the hall,
they saw an old door, and they decided to enter
to hide from Thomas. When they entered in the
strange room they saw a lot of children laughing
without sense. When they moved away, they
saw Sophie hanged in a dark room with a teddy
bear in her arms. In the end, the orphanage
children caught Laura
and Lucas to
kill
them. The spirits of the three children who
were locked
up for Halloween stayed at the
orphanage!

Jake's jacket
Last Friday November 13th, Jake was riding his motorbike towards
Warewolf Village. It was nearly midnight and there were thunders and
lightening. Suddenly, Jake saw an old man on the road. He stopped and
asked him:
“Are you fine? Oh my gosh you are trembling! Put my jacket on! Do you
want me to drive you somewhere?”
“My house is at the end of the path.” said the old man.
Jake drove him at his house. When they arrived in front of a weird house,
the old man said:
“I’m going to put a sweater on and then I will give you your jacket back.
Wait here for a minute.”
Fifteen minutes later, the old man was not back yet. Jake decided
to ring the bell of the house. A young girl opened the door and asked:
“Who are you?”
"I’m Jake. I’m looking for the old man who entered this house.”
“No one got in here. I live alone since my father’s death, maybe you got
to the wrong house.”
“No, I’m sure he walked into your house.”
“Can you describe him to me if you remember? ”
“Well, he is short and very skinny.
He has white hair and blues eyes.
And he was wearing torn closes.”
"Wait, It seems you are describing
my father. I am going to show you
his picture. His name was Tom.”
He saw the picture which surprised
him. He screamed:
“Oh my god! It’s him!”
“It means that you had the same
visions than I. “said the young girl.
“What visions?"Asked Jake.
“I see my father’s ghost!”
“Anyway, I don’t believe in those
things!”
“Are you sure? Then come with me
at the graveyard!”
At the cemetery, while they were searching Tom’s tomb, Jake felt a
presence, then he had a headache. He thought that it was only because
it was late but afterwards he heard strange voices. It was like women’s
cries and then they saw a green light above the old man's tomb. Guess
what was on it...it was unbelievable… JAKE’S JACKET!!!!!!!!

THE SCARY CLOWN.
During
a
dark
night,
in
Ramsgate,
a
little
English
village, George and Sharon Gowin
were watching TV with their two
pretty
daughters,
Ruby
and
Elisabeth, who was the eldest.
At 11:00 o’clock, the phone rang.
It was the director of the
hospital, he had bad news. Their
grandmother,
had
a
health
problem.
The parents needed to see her and
the girls had to stay alone at
home because Ruby was sleeping.
Elisabeth was watching the news,
when she heard about a killer
with a dangerous mental problem
who was wearing a clown’s costume
and had escaped from jail. Suddenly Elisabeth heard a child
music box and then, she saw through the window a clown’s
shadow. That’s why she decided to close all the doors and
windows of the house.
She went to the sofa and at the same moment, she heard Ruby
shouting that’s why she ran to her sister’s bedroom.
The girl was astonished, she couldn’t breathe she couldn’t
shout, she was scared to death! Actually Ruby was dead.
Unexpectedly, she heard the scary child music box again and
she saw the clown’s face through the window.
Elisabeth called her mother, and she explained to her what
was happening.
Her mother said 'It’s not
possible Elizabeth! In Ruby’s
bedroom
there
aren’t
any
windows.
There
are
only
mirrors.'
When she heard those words,
the phone fell to the floor.
She turned round and he was
there.

WEREWOLF IN THE MOUNTAIN
Once upon a time, in a little old village in the
mountain, lived two brothers, Bob who was 8,
and Pancracy, who was 13.
One cloudy night, they needed wood for the fire
of their house. Therefore, they went to the
mountain with a new hairy guide from the village
who knew the road.
When they had walked 2 miles into the forest,
Bob said to Pancracy:
“-Panc, I’m scared! Can we go back home,
please?
-Sir, said Pancracy, it’s too late, can we take
wood now?”
Then, clouds disappeared, and they could see
the moon.…......
“-Oh, no, we will not take wood...”
Suddenly, a lot of hair began to grow on his
arms, on his legs and on his face. His teeth
became bigger and sharper.
“-I’m going to... KILL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Nobody ever heard of Bob and Pancracy again
but the hairy guide says to all the tourists they
were killed by a werewolf.

THE SCREAMIING PICTURE

It was a cold and dark day. Vladöslav was not happy when he saw the
house that he had inherited from his uncle. He expected a little house,
with a kitchen, a dining room, two sleeping rooms and perhaps 2
bathrooms. Instead of his dream house it was a huge and old manor. He
felt a bit scared, but he thought that, after all, it was a manor where he
could sleep, eat and live.
SOLD
When Vladöslav entered his new home, the first thing he saw was a
big picture on the wall. Then he felt a strange chill in his back, he turned
around but there was just a chair and a table. He decided that that night
he was going to sleep in the manor and the next day he was going to put
the picture on the trash.
After dinner, when everything was dark, he went to bed and heard a
very high pitched scream, after that, he fainted. He woke up very dizzy.
He had forgotten everything. He went to the dining room to have
breakfast, but suddenly he became pale: the man on the picture moved.
Now he was on the left. Vladöslav screamed, he was very surprised and
scared, but he thought it was only
because he was dizzy. Two days passed
and the picture moved many times and
he heard that weird scream more than
five times . He couldn't leave the house
because something prevented him from
it, a strange power... Vladöslav became
crazy, scared, and alone in a manor, with
a painting that wanted to kill him.
Vladöslav went to bed crazy and scared but he tried to sleep. In the
morning, the man on the picture, with a pale face, white eyes, sharp
teeth and strange smile left the picture to kill him. The police found
Vladöslav without tongue and eyes. There was no picture after that day.

THE STRANGE HOUSE
Last Halloween a group of friends, Mary, Carol
and Rose organized a party in an abandoned house
with their best friends. Strange phenomena
appeared in the house. Juliette, who was Carol´s
best friend, began to act strangely, she never ate
nor slept.
Juliette said to Carol she had to get up of her
chair. Carol, who was exhausted, did not want to
leave and when Juliette insisted she hit her. In the
second evening after that quarrel, the girls
began to disappear one after the other. At
the end, all the girls had disappeared, except
Juliette.
A few days later, the owners came back to
their house and they found the dead bodies of the
girls and they saw Juliette who was crying. When
Juliette heard the owners, she disappeared little
by little.

STRANGE NOISES...
It was in a dark and cold winter
morning, in a cottage, in a little village
of
England,
Alison
was
at
her
grandparents' cottage, when she woke
up and heard wood cutting noises. She
thought that it was her grandfather like
every morning. She looked out the window of
her room, and she saw an axe cutting wood
outside in front of the house, but it was
unbelievable! Nobody was using it.
She went to her grandparents'
bedroom, and her grandfather was
lying in bed, he was not breathing and
very cold. Suddenly, she heard strange
noises again and again...
Her grandfather died that night, and ''the ghost''
kept on cutting wood every morning until the family
buried the body of the grandfather.

THE HAUNTED HOUSE

It was nearly dusk, Katie and Lisa were walking
in the village, when they arrived to the house : the
haunted house!
The two girls didn't know that it was haunted so
they decided to enter. Katie opened the door and saw
a picture, it was a picture of a scary clown, the two
girls were very afraid. Suddenly they heard a loud
noise... and Katie and Lisa ran away.
The day after, they went back and entered the
house. They heard a distant shout but they kept on
talking. Lights started to wink out and the two girls
started to cry. They saw a ghost but it faded away, so
they ran away. Eventually they decided to never
come back to the haunted house...
Unfortunately, 2 years later, Katie’s parent's told
her they were going to move to another house. When
they arrived to the new house Katie died of fright :
the new house was the haunted house …

THE SMELL OF DEATH
Once upon a time, there was a man who lived in a small
village in Scotland. He was perfume maker. He was crazy
about different smells, especially blood smell so he made them
at night using animals’ blood and humans’ blood taken from
graveyards.
One dark day, while he was shopping at a huge
supermarket, he met a beautiful girl. She was the perfect girl:
blond with weird blue eyes: the perfect girl with the perfect
blood. He decided to ask her to meet her again so he could use
her blood for his perfumes. They met a few more times and
they fell in love. At midnight, they were in his house when she
cut herself with a broken glass.
Suddenly, he got nervous since he couldn’t control
himself, he loved the woman but also her blood, he shouted at
her “Leave my house!” and then tried to kill her. She had a
knife that she had taken from the kitchen, she was very fast.
She knifed him but he eluded the knife, took it and killed her.
He took her body and put it in downstairs where he could take
all her blood, to make a lot of new perfumes. Two days later he
had made fourteen perfumes but he wasn't happy as now he
was alone, he didn’t have anybody to laugh with. Guilt tortured
him and he eventually committed suicide.

THE MYSTERY OF THE
CASTLE
It was a cold night in the old castle of Essex in
England. Mary, Susan and Lucy were three
teenagers who were visiting the castle for a school
work. They were taking photos of the of the king's
room when the doors of the castle slowly all closed.
When they realized that the last visitors’ tour
was finished, the lights turned off and the candles
lighted themselves up. Suddenly, the walls started
creaking and there were voices. They turned around
and saw a strange man who was wearing old clothes
and who was flying just like a ghost. They started
crying. Susan and Lucy ran away, only Mary stood
there, waiting for the ghost. Susan and Lucy got to
the end of a corridor. They were trapped! Mary and
the ghost got closer to them. She was flying like a
ghost. Lucy screamed and she reached for Susan's
hand but she wasn't there! Lucy turned to Mary and
the ghost when Susan appeared next to them by
surprise. Lucy screamed again, felt the touch of a
hand on her shoulder and jumped out
of the window. The next morning, a
castle's visitor found her and took
her to the hospital.
One day, when she woke up, she
found Susan's jacket on her chair,
since then, she has become crazy.

Bloody Mary Returns
This story takes place in Cambridge, England. It’s
about a young girl named Sophie who lives with her
small family. Her mother died because of the black
plague. Two years later, her father got married to an
evil, mean and cruel woman named Sandra who
hated children and wanted to get rid of her and her
brothers.
Her eldest brother, Christopher, was very weak and
scared of many things so Sandra decided to send him
to a boarding school where there were a lot of bullies.
Two months later he was trapped in a closet by some
of his classmates and died by suffocation. Next was
Sophie’s other brother, Smith, who was the exact
opposite of Christopher: he was strong and very
powerful. Her stepmother was determined to make
him go to a public school that had the biggest
amount of drug dealers in the state. Three weeks
later he was reported dead because of alcohol abuse.
Sophie knew she was next and suddenly she
remembered the last words that came out of her
mouth: “you’re a descendant of Bloody Marie and if
you say her name three times in front of a mirror she
will appear and take the life of the first thing she sees
just like they took hers” then she remembered that
there was a mirror in her living room and she had an
idea.
So one day, when her father wasn’t at home and her
stepmother was in her room, she called Bloody Marie
three times then told Sandra if she could come
downstairs because she needed her help. Suddenly, Sophie jumped
behind the couch while Sandra was coming.
Bloody Marie saw her stepmother and grabbed her. Behind the couch,
Sophie could hear screams and she got scared. In fact, she got so terrified
that she lifted her head because she needed to see what was going on.
Her stepmother was being choked by Bloody Marie while she was on fire
then Sophie saw Sandra’s head rolling on the flour. Bloody Marie was
gone. Ten minutes later, her father came back, saw the dead body on
the floor and immediately called the police. Sophie was sent to prison for
murder and lost her mind.

The Terrible School Trip
Last Monday, instead of going to school, my class and I went to
a school trip to the woods, to discover much information about
insects. We had a little problem: it was rainy and cold. I noticed
a weird thing while my classmates were looking for insects. I got
closer to this strange thing: I had found a graveyard. The tombs
were shaking, I was very frightened. I shouted but nobody heard
me. I ran away but I didn’t find my classmates. When I turned
around, I saw zombies who were following me. I realized that
they were in the tombs which were shaking! I had never been so
scared. I got to a part of the forest that I didn’t know. I was
lost. I went on running until I found my classmates, near the
cemetery. I saw the zombies come back to their tombs. I was
crying, but good after all.

DANGEROUS TRICK

Today, in the newspaper, I read an article
about mysterious disappearances. It was
really strange. I love this type of scary
stories that's why I decided to investigate
them.
I called my best friend, James, to ask him for his help:
-Hi James! I'm Jake. I am going to investigate the
disappearances and I want your help.
-Thank you. See you then.
I met James at Sue's coffee and we decided to go to the missing
people's home. There we found a letter that said:
Tomorrow, at 10a.m., go to the
House in Stone wood. You must come if you
want to see your red fish again.”
James and I went to Stone wood. It was a dark big forest. One
hour later, we finally found the house that was a huge
abandoned castle. We began to explore it and in one of the
rooms we discovered two bodies... and a red fish that was
bleeding on the wall. I was terrified. I approached the bodies but
when I turned round to see James's face he was looking at me
with a sadistic smile. I began to walk backwards but I stumbled
on something and feel down. When I was moving back, I felt a
knife near my hand and I took it. I killed James when he jumped
on me. He suddenly screamed and disappeared. My body is
possessed now by his black soul.
Now I have a
real body, I just
have to kill
Jack's soul.

A Real Nightmare
Michael was playing baseball when Bob came screaming and running madly.
Michael tried to calm him down. A few seconds later Bob explained that he
was walking in the street when he saw the old Smiths’ cottage but then he
saw a shadow, and two yellow lights.
“They weren’t normal lights, those were eyes!”
“Don’t panic it must be the reflection of the sun.”
“No! those were eyes, yellow and flashy eyes, and they were looking at me.”
“That could not be real, if you really want to be sure we can go to the Smiths’
cottage and check it.”
Michael and Bob walked towards the Smiths’ cottage when a strange man
dressed in a black coat came towards them and pushed Michael.
“ Hey, what’s wrong with you? Be careful” Michael said.
“Don’t worry it’s just our new neighbour, he’s very strange.”
They arrived to the Smiths’ cottage but there was nothing strange in the
house, suddenly the door closed and all became dark.
“Ah! We are going to die!”
They were shaken, they were alone trapped in that terrible cottage. Those two
lights turned on again. That were eyes, but they were not only two lights,
there were a hundred of flashy yellow eyes which were approaching them.
They heard a voice, a familiar voice. That was the voice of the strange man,
dressed in a black coat. He started to say:
“Curiosity killed the cat! So you’re gonna die...”
Michael woke up sweating and terrified, he sat on his bed, it was just a
nightmare...

ARABELLA’S TEDDY BEAR

It was on March of 1950. I moved
out from New York to join
England in a large black car. My
parents were strange during the
travel; they seemed nervous and
frightened.
My father drove slowly. So, hours
later, we arrived at an abandoned
Nottingham's mountain.
It was dark. There was a huge and
scary cottage. Around it there was
a lot of vegetation. I asked my
father about it.
My dad stammered that the Second World War took place there. I was
feeling bad thinking of all the dead bodies left around me.
The cottage seemed abandoned. Nevertheless, it was our new home. We
left the car then we entered into the cottage. Webs were all over the place!
Bravely, I went upstairs to see my future bedroom while my parents were
discovering our home too.
I opened the door very
slowly... The room was
very dark, the walls
were covered with
drawings of dolls,
horrible
dolls!
Suddenly, I saw a
beautiful teddy bear on
the bed that was
wearing a nice pink
dress.
I took it and I found an old paper in its dresses pocket, it said:
- You mustn't go down the stairs two by two.
- You mustn't go outside after midnight.
- The teddy bear mustn't see the swing from the window.
I was shaken, but I rapidly forgot that!
One night, I was sleeping when a strange noise woke me up...It was a bird
that was frightened by the storm! I was breathless! I looked at my watch, it
was midnight! I had a look outside. It was raining, I could hear the thunder.
Suddenly, I saw my teddy bear on the ground in the garden. I thought that I

was dreaming, but it was true! I was scared, it could not be possible! I
decided to go out and get it. I moved towards the door very slowly, then, I
ran and went down the stairs two by two! I was over-excited! The teddy
bear was not at the same place as it was a minute ago! Now, it was sitting
in the swing! I was terrified! I took my teddy, when suddenly a storm
illuminated the swing and a pretty and pale girl appeared! She cuddled my
teddy. Then, she disappeared. I screamed, ran, took my teddy and went to
my bed.
The next morning, my mother came into my bedroom, I
was not sleeping. I decided not to tell my parents about
what I saw the night before night, but I was constantly
thinking about this girl. Who could she be? A ghost? A
monster?
My mother suggested me to have a look at a family album. All of a sudden,
I was completely paralyzed as I could see a picture that was exactly the
scene that I saw the night before! The pretty girl with my teddy in the
swing!
A BAD DAY TO GO TO THE PARK
It was nearly dusk; the sky was dark and green. John was big
and intelligent. He was walking in the park with his dog.
Suddenly he heard a strange noise. It was a little girl
screaming. John got a little bit closer to see what was
happening and he noticed the tree was eating the little girl.
John was feeling cold and scared, he approached the tree to
try to save the girl and the tree ate him too. Only the dog
survived.

THE CASTLE

Once upon a time, there were 2 brothers called Jack and Kevin.
They were working in a shoe factory and they worked very long hours.
The factory was in the countryside, next to an abandoned castle. Their
friends were always joking about a vampire who lived in the castle but
the brothers didn’t believe them.
One day, Jack and Kevin were working nightshift, so it was very
late. They decided to check if the story was true. They left the factory
and walked to the castle gates. The castle was dark, and very spooky.
Jack and Kevin were scared but didn’t show it. They decided to go in.
Inside, it was very dark, when suddenly they heard a weird noise
upstairs. They went to find out what that was. They saw a bedroom and
opened the door, they realised there was someone sitting in a chair.
He turned around and all they could see were teeth, so they ran
away, but the vampire chased them all over the house, they found the
front door but Jack fell over while Kevin was opening the door, and the
vampire was right behind them. Jack quickly jumped up as Kevin
opened the door, and the sunlight stopped the vampire from catching
them.
They ran towards the factory and the vampire screamed “If I see
you again, you’re dead!!!”

Von Dracul’s Castle

Today, I took the bus 42 because I had to meet my
best friend. When I arrived to the Café, I saw him next
to the door. We sat at a table and I told him a short but
scary story which happened to me a long time ago.
It was October 31st, in the North of Transylvania in the
castle of the Count Von Dracul, who is the protagonist of
the Legend of Dracula. It was my first day as a guardian
and I was going to be alone at night. The castle was
enormous, with high towers, huge stone walls defending
the place. Moreover there were one hundred canyons
more or less and it was very dark. I was in one of the
rooms of the castle. There were swords, lances, a lot of
arms and also a picture of the Count. He looked very
distinguished and he had a spooky glance. Suddenly, I
saw a dark silhouette which moved very fast. A man
appeared, jumped and ran after me with an axe which
had rests of his previous victim’s blood. So he took a big
wooden stick and he was sticking it in my body when a
window opened and suddenly the sun burnt him, I was
confused. I still wonder what happened to me.
