AquaCare 50
FAST AND EFFECTIVE WATER DISINFECTANT FOR PERSONAL USE
AquaCare is a safe protection against pathogenic micro-organisms
(bacteria, virus) in water considered as unsafe for drinking. It can also
be used for personal hygiene, to wash hands after toilet visits, to
disinfect fruit etc. It is also efficient to avoid infection in smaller wounds.
AquaCare should always be used in water
suspected to contain harmful bacteria. It will
efficiently disable microorganisms such as
bacteria, virus, algae, fungi and protozoa.
The disinfectant will not affect the smell or
taste of the water. It is approx. 5 times as
efficient as chlorine-based products.
The EPA (Environment Protection Agency
USA) recommends a dosage of chlorine
dioxide of 0,9 ppm (0,9mg/l) for drinking
water to be used on daily basis. For
temporary use, the dose can be doubled
to ensure safe water.
AquaCare has been successfully tested
by a number of well known US and
Swedish universities and laboratories
such as Wisconsin State Laboratory of
Hygiene, Johns Hopkins University of
Baltimore, University of Arizona,
Göteborgs Universitet, amongst others.
AquaCare is active when yellow. If the contents is still yellow after the expiration date the
product is still active, but double dose should then be used.

FIELDS OF APPLICATION: DISINFECTION OF WATER
WITHIN HOUSEHOLDS, TOURISTS/TRAVELLERS,
MILITARY, HUMANITARIAN AID, CONTAMINATED TAP
WATER ETC.
Instructions:
If the water is severely polluted and discolored, the water should be filtered before adding
AquaCare (for example with a coffee filter or similar). Use double dose if the water is still
discolored after the filtration.
Water Disinfection:
In order to obtain 1,5 - 2 litres of pure water, free from harmful microorganisms, unscrew
the cap of AquaCare bottle and fill a bottle cap, then pour the solution in to the water bottle
and fill it with clear water. Wait for approx. 2 minutes, then the water is drinkable. One
bottle (50 ml) of AquaCare 50 treats approx. 50 - 60 litres of water.
Disinfection of Fruit and Vegetables:
Dose two to three capsules of AquaCare to 0,5 litres of water, then rinse the fruit/vegetables in
water. Allow the fruit/vegetables stay in the rinse water for around 5 minutes. In acute need of
disinfection AquaCare can be used in concentrated form directly from the bottle. Drip a few
drops of AquaCare directly to the surface of fruit/vegetable and rub the fruit with your hands.
