One of the characteristics that distinguishes universities from most small colleges
is the unusual array of resources that enhance
the learning experience. At Duke, resources
like the William R. Perkins Library, the Mary
Lou Williams Cultural Center, the Leon
Levine Science Research Center and 21 clusters of Macintosh, PC, Unix and Linux computers connected to the campus network are
fully accessible to undergraduates.
Duke’s diverse student body of over 6,300
