Milk pearl tea derives from bubble tea. It is an
offshoot of the Taiwan bubble tea culture, a
popular tea drink in Taiwan society. The
“pearls” in milk pearl tea are tapioca, made
from sweet potato starch. Using a shaker as if
making a cocktail, they shake black tea, green
tea or oolong tea with a variety of juices and
flavorings, with a great variety of results.

The collection of cultural artifacts held by the National Palace Museum is composed of
an enormous treasure trove of objects inherited from the previous Sung, Yuan, Ming and
Qing dynasties. Development of the Museum is closely connected to the social changes
of modern China. Thirteen years after the founding of the Republic of China, the last
Qing Emperor Pu Yi was exiled from the Forbidden City. The cultural artifacts remaining
within the palaces were inventorized, and the National Palace Museum was founded.

An outstanding landmark is enough to transform a city, e.g. the Empire State Building in
New York City, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or the new Jinmao Mansion in Shanghai. In the
21st century, Taipei needs a more expansive stage for a more brilliant performance. 101
stories above ground and 5 stories below, the 508-meter-tall Taipei 101 is an engineering
feat that’s expected to bring Taipei to the world.

The Memorial Hall is built upon three stories of broad and solid foundations that
symbolize "Jhung Jheng" (impartial and righteous). The octagonal roof design creates
many "ren" (Man), motifs on the very top, symbolizing the "unification of Man and
Heaven." The roof is fashioned in the form of the Altar to Heaven and covered with blue
glazed tiles, reflecting the sunlight. The apex of the roof is gold in color and culminates
the upsurge glory None of the other materials, such as the white marble, red cypress
ceiling, and light red granite floor, have been tinted with artificial colors,thereby
imparting a feeling of sacredness, solemnity, hospitality, and peace.

National Center for Traditional Art or also called Center for Traditional Art is located by
the river band of Dongshan River in Wujie, Yilan in Taiwan. The center's total area is 24
hectares. The goal of the center is overall planning, supporting the related research,
promoting, preserving, and teaching the traditional arts, and also redefining, renovating,
and developing the traditional arts. The park itself has become one of the most important
tourist spots in Yilan.

Leofoo Village Theme Park, with over 100 acres. It has six different cultural customs as
the main attraction, Wild West, South Pacific, Arabian Kingdom, China Town, Fairy Tale

first recreational park that combines both zoo park and recreational park together in the
Asia region. Leofoo Village Theme Park is the only real theme park in the national. The
biggest difference between a recreational park and a theme park is that the theme park has
a strong topic which combines the modern technology and innovation to create an actual
environment including the buildings, plants, landscape, food and beverage, merchandise,

The Sao Tribe that lives on the shores of Sun Moon Lake is the smallest of Taiwan's 10
indigenous tribes, with fewer than 300 members. The main tourist area at the lake is Sun
Moon Village, which is full of hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops--and tourists. In the
indigenous settlement at Dehua Village, the Zhulu Market is crowded with shops offering
curios and Sao cuisines. The "Sao Culture Village" is a nearby building that mounts
native song and dance performances. If you are here at the time of the traditional harvest
festival in the eighth lunar month, you will be invited to participate personally in the
activities and gain a first-hand experience Sao culture. Other attractions around the lake
include Xuanguang Temple, Xuanzang Temple, and Wenwu Temple, all of which have a
strong appeal for tourists.
