Students earn service credit! 565-1150 Dragon Tales wows a packed house There were few empty seats at the Sunflower Theatre on April 7 for Dragon Tales. The community turned out in force to hear SWOS students Mahala Cotton, Gabrielle Dukeminier, Holly Ford, James Gonzales, Ryan Lee, Daryl Malone and staff members Brad Higinbotham and Tyson Wood tell their personal stories from the Sunflower stage. Art teacher Nate Osgood coordinated the project. The storytellers had worked with Tom Yoder and Sarah Syverson, producers of the Raven Narratives, on their presentations. “I am super proud of how Dragon Tales turned out, and very impressed with the storytellers and the amazing presence they brought to the stage!” said Yoder. Dragon Tales was supported by a CAP grant from Think 360 Arts for Learning and the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant. 2 SWOS News Calendar Parent/Family Survey May Do you have a student at SWOS?
