- The average high temperature for the 11 games this month shattered the previous June record.
The average high temp recorded at Pangborn on those 11 days was 88.7. The old mark was 85.8 in
2004.
- The hottest day was the 7th at 99. The coldest the 12th at 78.
- Six of the of the 11 days were in the 90’s.
- The average high for all 206 June games is 79.7.
Miscellany
- What a difference a day makes. Wednesday’s game was 3 hours, 52 minutes...Thursday’s 2 hours,
18 minutes. Both nine innings.
- The entire eighth inning last evening lasted all of nine minutes. The night before just the top half of
the seventh was 31 minutes.
- The 5-10 record ties for the worst for the Sox in WCL play through 15 games. The 2007 outfit also
had that mark and then won their next game.
