Sitka Wearable Art Show & Runway Extravaganza
March 1st 2014 Application Form Theme – Six of One/Half Dozen of Another
Registration:
Due by Feb 15th to allow us to get the program drafted, reviewed, and printed.
Music: Please have a CD or thumb Drive or tell us the music you want and the start stop time with only your piece and the two minute limit and we will get it for you, but have a backup if possible. Please keep music PG – this is a family oriented show. We need your CD at the time of registration.
Schedule:
Friday 28 Feb Mandatory Dress Rehearsal, 7pm. Two shows March 1st matinee, 2pm, evening show 7pm. There will be a reception after each show. Be at each one hour early please.
Wearable art shows are theatrical by nature – it is very important to have your full piece for the rehearsal to make sure it works, the music works, you and the MC are in agreement of how to present the written descrip-­
tion, and you or your model are comfortable on the runway. New this year:
We are asking the artists to stand next to the MC and be recognized if you wish to do this, we think it is a nice touch.

Describe your creation: You have 75 words or less. Your description will be read by the MC. Your music will then start and the model(s) have a total of 2 minutes for their runway presentation, you do not need to use all the words or all the time. ____________________________________________________________________

I grant permission for my images to be used for future publicity purposes, I have informed my models of this, and they have also granted permission for this. I understand that the Wearable Art show reserves the right to exclude any piece that they find inappropriate.
