know about them:
Journey Wines – 2011 Yarra Valley Chardonnay
Damian North’s journey began whilst working as a sommelier at some of Sydney’s most
iconic restaurants. He went onto study wine and then spent time in the USA making
Pinot before ending up in Margaret River working at Leeuwin Estate. The 2011
Chardonnay is a quaffable wine displaying citrus fruits, fresh apples and white nectarine
flavours. It has a distinctive cool climate structure with wonderful oak integration and a,
linear finish.
Little Creek Vineyard – 2012 Estate Pinot Noir
Little Creek Vineyard is a small 10 acre block of 114, 115 and 777 Pinot Noir tendered
by Suzie Morris and Nigel Hopkins. This Norton Summit hillside has a view to the ocean
and is warmed by the long afternoon Adelaide sun. Naturally fermented, unrefined,
unfiltered and bio dynamic farming gives this wine a Delicate, lean palate up front, but
this wine is no lady! She is fed by Adelaide long afternoon sun and this has given her a
beautiful strong cigar, liquorish, anise structure to hold to for many years
Del Maguey – Single Village Mezcals
Del Maguey offers exceptional rare and unblended mezcals created by individual family
producers in remote villages throughout the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Using natural
processes over four hundred years old, the mezcals are created with only two ingredients:
water and the heart of the maguey or agave. Each Del Maguey Mezcal is named for the
village from which it is produced. Try as a flight or on their own.
