Directions The Old Rectory is best approached along the A47 which runs west-east between Dereham and Norwich. Take the turning off the A47 signposted to North Tuddenham. If driving from the West along the A47 the turning is about 3 miles after Dereham: come off the slip road, turn immediately right then right again so as to take the bridge back over the A47. Proceed straight ahead down the lane until you come to a junction, turn left, travel 200 yards and turn right across a cattle grid and onto a drive through a field - this field is part of The Old Rectory property and after a few hundred yards you pass across another cattle grid and through the gates into main garden in front of the house. From the East along the A47, take the turning signposted to North Tuddenham: turn left off the slip road and proceed down the lane until you come to the junction, turn left, travel 200 yards and turn right across the cattle grid as above. From London/South, take the M11 exit (Junction 9) onto the A11. The A11 joins onto the A14 for several miles - turn off again onto the A11 signposted to Norwich. Follow directions to Norwich until you have by-passed Thetford. Turn left onto the A1075 signposted to Watton and Dereham. Take this road all the way to Dereham where you turn right onto the A47 and proceed as above. From the North/Midlands, take the A47 all the way from Kings Lynn.
