Socialist Alliance
Socialist Alliance believes we need a democratic society run by
and for working people; not the greedy, destructive capitalist
elite that now rules. We put people and the planet before profit,
the billions before the billionaires. We believe that a society
based on this principle is entirely realistic and necessary if
humanity and the planet are to survive. Our members are active
in campaigns for workers’ rights, for women’s rights, against
unconventional gas mining and for environmental protection and
justice and equality for all. We believe that the majority of people
can develop the power to create a just and environmentally
sustainable alternative to profit-driven capitalism. So join us!

Flux
Flux is a revolutionary new system of democracy. A Flux member
of parliament votes exactly as instructed to do by users of a
smartphone app (anyone registered on the electoral roll can
download and use this app for free). Importantly people can
trade votes. Care about one political issue but not another? Trade
your vote with somebody else to get an extra vote on the issue
you care about most. This brings expertise to policy development
because voters will abstain from voting on issues about which
they are not expert, in exchange for extra votes on issues about
which they have expertise. Flux WA is now a registered WA
political party contesting national, state and local election
