Students build full-sized traditional rowing and sailing boats that are added to a growing fleet of small craft that students use to navigate the waters of the Rondout Creek and Hudson River. At the Riverport Wooden Boat School, students from diverse backgrounds work alongside skilled craftspeople in an authentic learning environment. The Rondout neighborhood of Kingston, NY has a rich history as a center of wooden boat building.
